Porter was never offered Spence. That fight wasn't an option.

Porter vs. Spence for the welterweight title isn't going on the UNDERCARD of a Wilder fight.

Plus it would be too expensive to put on the same card as Wilder. It would be a $5M card, and no network pays that.

I think the proper way is to apologize to the guy and say you didn't know or you forgot. Why are you insulting him on top of that? I don't really get some fans. Chill man.

Tell him I said my bad... I remembered the fight when I saw it on Boxrec... it was so one-sided... shows how great Pac is because he dominated Bradley 3 times.

I don't give Peterson any chance except for a ****** punch Spence never sees coming. Spence is wasting his time at welter, IMO. He's big enough and good enough to fight at 154, even 160.

            Find challenges, bro.

They were both available during the summer. Remember Porter drop out of the mayweather even in August and Spece was already IBF Champion. They were able to make the fight.

Isn't it Espinoza's/Haymon's responsibility to lure opponents for their star fighter and give them an offer they can't refuse?
What are they there for in this business anyway?
Espinoza is basically throwing them under the bus.

Ultimately the fighters make the decision. Network can't make them do what they don't want to do.

Espinoza throwing them under the bus? Huh? With HBO's boxing budgeted, slashed, Showtime is paying way more money than HBO nowadays. Showtime spending way more money supporting and investing in the sport than anyone else is. If anyone is getting thrown under the bus, it's the HBO fighters and HBO subscribers, since Nelson is feeding us mismatch after mismatch (Kovalev-Shabransky, Vargas-Negrete, Linares-Gesta) and ESPN-level fights like Salido-Roman.

                    That's what I was saying.
SHO is helpless. They can't make their fighters fight the guys they want them to fight. It's a ****** sport sometimes.
Winning titles alone is no longer the sole reason to take a fight.
