Far be it from me to add grist to the rumor mill but I remember esnews or fight hype having a one off report of Mayweather's vegas residence being burglarized during the McGregor negotiations and an undisclosed, but large, sum of money was stolen. Soon thereafter Mayweather was at the negotiating table with McGregor and the terms of the mega fight were quickly agreed upon.
