You appear to have missed the point I was making. It concerns the times at which Joshua is fighting not being conducive to delivering optimum ratings in the US, as opposed to Wilder who fights at peak viewing times.

On the Klitschko fight you mention, this was the biggest hw clash in many years. Both fighters had significant followings and there was a compelling narrative on either side. Hence the additional interest, even with the handicap of the time issue referred to above.

The fighters that have made the most money in the sport did it in America. The fact that you're fabricating sentences to dispute that which is indisputable is borderline ******ation, bias, lack of knowledge, or willingness to be ignorant. American money and audience is what drives the entire sport of boxing, whether you like it or not. And guess what, if you can't cross over in America, then your not a real star boxer.
You never said every fighter made the big money in America, but you implied it.

There's been lots of time the money has been in the UK. And that is the case here with AJ and Wilder.

If Wilder and his side want the fight in the states, then they are going to have to make some guarantees. Can they do that?

Wilders biggest mistake is his team had him in Alabama the entire time and not going around the world like Japan where he can fight Fujimoto and raise the stakes .

You just proved my point. You can't have it both ways. Joshua is not popular in America unless he fights a klitschko or a Wilder. Klitschko fight proves that the time has little to do with it. I don't understand why some of you are so sour about this. Wilder is not popular in Europe, ok. Joshua is not popular in America, it is what it is.

First, I didn't imply anything. I meant what I typed, and you interpreted the way you did. Also I don't think anyone is under any illusions that AJ vs Wilder is going to happen anywhere other than Europe. Thats not what this conversation was about. If we are talking fairness, then what ever split AJ gets from the European side, Wilder should get on the American side. So lets say for instance the purse split is 55-45 in favor of AJ in Europe, which is what I think it will end up being. Then Wilder would get 55% of PPV generated in America, with AJ getting 45%. Now the only reason im discussing this is because there are too many supporting this fight not happening on the basis of a purse split, with a false notion that Wilder brings nothing to the table, which is simply not true. Either way, I really don't care what fighters make, I just want to see the damn fight. And anyone who supports Hearns excuses is not a real Boxing fan.
