Comments Thread For: Lomachenko: Rigondeaux Will Fight Like It's His Last Match

Vasyl Lomachenko, the current super featherweight champion of the World Boxing Organization, is training hard for his upcoming fight with Guillermo Rigondeaux. The bout, scheduled for December 9 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, will see Rigondeaux (17-0 11 KOs) - the WBA's super bantamweight world champion - move up by two weight divisions to challenge Lomachenko (9-1 with 7 knockouts) in an ESPN televised main event.

"I'm training all of my punches, I do not like just polishing one, because it does not make me interesting. I like to show people that boxing is full of possibilities and you can do different things," Lomachenko said.

And boxing fans are thankful to you for this, Loma!

I'm getting sick & tired of hearing this bs nonsense about"mexican style" meaning you just exchange punches.

Thats complete bs spread by dumb ****s like ggg as a way to justify his low iq having style,& MAINLY as a way to enamour himself with the same Mexican hater casuals that hate on canelos superior style.

Before the ggg fight Canelos trainer chepo said something very funny,he said(paraphrasing)

"mexican style has nothing to do with what these 2 ignoramuses claim(sanchez & ggg),its more than what their trying to make it out as rockem sockem robots, theres been countless mexican legends that have nothing in common with that style,& we study all styles of the greats of every color like Ali,hagler, Leonard,& esp. the great mexicans like Salvador Sanchez, Barrera, Morales, etc etc,we don't just believe you should ******ly stand & trade blows blocking with your face like this ass claims, thats not what defines mexican style & btw ggg canelo has REAL mexican style because hes a REAL Mexican not you"

Since ggg started saying this bs now everyone is buying into it as if ANY mexican boxer agrees with him. Chavez who ggg stole a shîttier version of his style from even disagrees with that bs. And hes the epitome of that supposed style.

Well Rigo might retire if he loses. He might even retire if he wins.

But he's been a p4p fighter for years and all the top guys besides Donaire and Loma ducked him, not sure if I'd consider Agbeko a top guy. His career and most of his performances were impressive considering how he didn't turn pro until after his 54th birthday.

Vasyl is right. This is going to be a great fight between two great boxers. Rigo will fight like there’s no tomorrow, because, for him, there really isn’t. Can hardly wait!

"mediocre people" that's up there with GGG's "I need belt" for awesome quotes from the Eastern European fighters contingent.
