Floyds 3% for one fight would be ALL of what Rig. made his entire career...

Hear what you are saying, but that's not how I read it. When I hear 'Mexican Style' I always think of JCC Sr. (or JMM, Barrera, Morales) move forward style, pressure, pressure, pressure, body work etc, wear down the opponent. I wouldn't say any of those were rock-em sock-em, lots more skill involved, their styles just led to more exchanges as opponents tried to keep them off (or of course when fighting each other and both trying to move forward, ends up an exciting war of attrition to get the other guy going backwards).

Rigo will move backwards by choice and look for Loma to move forward on to counters - if Loma is as good as we think, he won't do that, so first couple of rounds will be Rigo waiting for Loma to walk onto something, and Loma probing to see how he can get in without walking on to anything - ie a lot of pawing and moving without a lot of punches thrown. Loma is counting on being able to find a way in eventually - Rigo hoping to keep him on the outside all fight.

That's kind of insulting to say that mediocre people like the Mexican style.

Egis Klimas shouldn't forget that it was a Mexican who handed Lomachenko his first L.

Jim and Harold are two of the worst commentators in boxing today. They have singlehandily ruined modern day commentating for me. The most biased P.O.S in boxing today!

I think Rigo is going to freeze Lomo with movement, and precison punching, he is much more of a thinker, and that will work to his advantage against an over confident fighter who truly feels the burden to please the fans.

I am taking Rigo in a split decision upset, Arum can make much more money on a rematch.

Regardless of which direction this fight goes, there will be NO rematch.

Before the ggg fight Canelos trainer chepo said something very funny,he said(paraphrasing)

"mexican style has nothing to do with what these 2 ignoramuses claim(sanchez & ggg),its more than what their trying to make it out as rockem sockem robots, theres been countless mexican legends that have nothing in common with that style,& we study all styles of the greats of every color like Ali,hagler, Leonard,& esp. the great mexicans like Salvador Sanchez, Barrera, Morales, etc etc,we don't just believe you should ******ly stand & trade blows blocking with your face like this ass claims, thats not what defines mexican style & btw ggg canelo has REAL mexican style because hes a REAL Mexican not you"

Since ggg started saying this bs now everyone is buying into it as if ANY mexican boxer agrees with him. Chavez who ggg stole a shîttier version of his style from even disagrees with that bs. And hes the epitome of that supposed style.
I don't think you quite grasp the depth of the soviet école of boxing, calling Ggg low IQ style.
Soviet style is the predecessor of Cuban boxing and nothing ******. It's based on minimalism and practicality. Body mechanics and defense are the most important.

GGG doesn't really share any of his style with soviets though despite being from that school of boxing.

His style now surely is completely different than before he met sanchez as theres no special fx to his style as the canelo fight demonstrated,he looked amatuerish throughout missing wildly, regardless if u think he won,(which I disagree with you on),that part is irrefutable.

His style is ENTIRELY as much of an imitation of Chavez as is possible.

He just doesn't have any head movement whatsoever or good defense. Both of which Chavez isn't even known for, but he was far better in both those areas than GGG as JCC defense & head movement was impeccably perfect for his style.

Sanchez has admitted countless times, the obvious that he had ggg watch hundreds of hrs of film on JCC in order to "emulate" his style.

If you watch film on both you'll notice that ggg is like a bigger ****tier version of JCC's style & ggg hasn't been fighting elite fighters til Jacobs/nelo in his mid 30s.(I'll leave it at that as to why)

This is last 3 rds of ko win vs P.Rican legend Rosario R.I.P.
Thats the exact fight that Sanchez said he had ggg watch 4 hrs on end.

Heres ggg vs jacobs,as its as close a direct comparison as possible.
