2017 retired version of Trinidad would turn any version of Cotto into a heterosexual in 6 rounds or less.

Roach needs to go see a doctor.

Who has Cotton beaten. Lost to Mayweather, Pacman, and Ginger. He sucks. He only good win is Mosley.

Anyone outside of Roach and Cotto's family share that same opinion

Think they rate Cotto that high because he's a four weight division champion but then let's face it he cherry picked his way to those titles like Broner did.

When he tried to defend them against good comp he lost badly.

I mean, Trout took his title at 154 he never rematched him. He also lost his titles to Pac, Canelo, and Mayweather. He got opportunities to win titles against mediocre opposition but when the top dogs came after his titles he just kept losing.

He's a decent boxer though. HOF fighter for sure, but not ATG.

Cotto Didn't lose his title to Trout. Trout defended his title against Cotto. WBC Middleweight title was not a cherry pick. Both Mayweather and Canelo were not willing to face any version of Martinez. Martinez cherry picked Cotto. Yuri Forman was a lineal title holder at 154, ranked #6 by ring, and was 1.5 to 1 underdog. And before you bring up his knee, let me remind you that Foreman had been fighting on a bad knee before the Cotto fight, he won the title on that bad knee. Pac one of the greatest of this generation, Mayweather one of the greatest of all time, Canelo 10 years younger and twice as large. The fact that you think losing to either of these guys is some how bad is ridiculous. I mean who else has beaten Mayweather? I also suggest that you do some research on the opponents that Cotto defended his titles against. Vacant titles have to be won by somebody, he worked his way to the #1 spot, why shouldn't he get a chance at the title? Either way, he made up for it by defending against the top fighters in those divisions. Guys that were top 10 ring rated - that means the very best in each division regardless of sanctioning body. He's fought 17 ring top 10 fighters. 7 p4p ranked fighters, ranked p4p himself for a few years. Won 6 major titles, successfully defended those titles 14 times. Fought in 5 different weight classes, won titles in 4. First Puerto Rican fighter to win titles in 4 weight classes. That's a resume that a vast majority of boxers (current, past, and future) won't even get close too.
