I'm seeing reports that Mikey will not be defending his title in a unification bout (at 135) but instead will face Omar Figueroa Jan 27 on SHO. At what weight, I'm not sure.

This probably means Mikey is moving up to 140-147 permanently.

What did I say about 3 weeks ago when I called him out for ducking Linares(who he prob beats)?Omar Fig??Every fanboy was saying he would be in bigger $ fight with at least the 3rd best(Easter).Now what you think?I like Mikey but he thinks he is a star and he aint.He also must think he has a HOF legacy already and he don't.He should have took that deal with Linares and if GB treated him good he should have signed with them.He NEEDS a promoter and GB is So Cal and that would have been good fit.

His brother said it about 3 weeks ago or more Omar Fig he even said he had NO IDEA why mikey did not go for GB deal because he said only other fight he heard about was Omar FIG.

Yea I think as fans we need to call out this s hite.Even if you like the fighter which I do.But he is takin the path of least resistance.And they cant say HBO,SHOW or anyone is paying more for this then Linares.
