??????? No he isnt????? Your dumb and use double standards. He just fought at 140 and won't be surprised by f he ever goes make to 135, but that's not even the point. Complain Loma is fighting smaller men yet you think he should fight garcia. Don't call people dumb when you appear to have very little room to talk

I agree with this.Don't blame Loma fans. They weren't the ones asking for this fight. Rigo and his fans were the ones crying that Loma was ducking him. So don't complain now.
The only time I remember Loma fans wanting this fight was when Loma was still at 126 and Rigo was running his mouth.
Since Loma moved up to 130 not many, other than Rigo fans that still thought everybody, including Loma, were ducking him, wanted this fight that badly.
I always said that if Rigo still wanted the fight he should at least fight a few times at 130 or even at 126. But he has been content staying at 122, which has been a pretty dull division for years now.
There are people that have even said that Loma moved up to 130 to duck Rigo.
And don't worry Loma-Garcia fight will happen as long as Mikey stays at 135. With Mikey being as impatient as he is I don't see him staying at 135 all that long.
I prefer to see Loma clean up 130 before moving up, because I know people will say he ducked Berchelt, Salido, and Farmer if he moved up next. It's a no win either way. If he doesn't move up next he is ducking Mikey and Linares. If he does move up he is ducking all the other fighters at 130, so I say Loma should stay at 130, for now, and clean house. There are still some interesting fights there.
I won't give Loma credit for wins he never actually got, unlike fans of other fighters. I prefer to see him actually beat the guys at 130 instead of just pretending he beat them.
I predict on December 10th moving forward the Rigo "fans" which are mostly just Eastern Euro haters will give him on Rigo and move onto Mikey Garcia. Mikey will be the new guy Loma is avoiding because he would get destroyed by him. The same Mikey who "called out" and demanded a Linares fight - even asked the WBC not to mandate it and then refused the fight. Yes, he will be the one Loma is "ducking". Eventually he will decide to fight Loma (unless he runs to 140 or 147) and Loma will win and then somebody else will be the new guy. He will be thrown onto the scrap heap with Russell, Walters and Rigo as guys that Loma will A) duck and B) lose badly too only to then be ignored and labeled as nothing fighters.
If he moves up he's ducking Berchelt, Davis, Salido (despite offering him what 3 great paydays now and declining everyone after admitting to liking the purse?) if he fights any of them he's ducking Linares and Garcia. If he fights and beats them all he's ducking Crawford or the next undefeated guy at 140.Comment

So, he didn't move to 130 and beat a champion after being the reigning 126 champion? He doesn't beat Machado or Berchelt at 130? He can't beat Linares, Easter or Flanagan?
If he beats Rigo and proves you wrong would you give him credit? Or will you just dismiss it like the Walters fight when he proved you wrong? Don't want to make any assumptions but you probably called the Russell fight too (that is if you were paying attention to Loma by then or only gained your insecurity later).
If Loma was black you'd be all over him and you know it. MANY here would. Same dudes that love Floyd and Ward and hate GGG but love Rigo because they are "hardcore fans that love boxing skill" yet hate Loma and love Wilder.Comment

Fake news. In fact he's more likely to be fighting Omar Figueroa at 140 and that's out his of his brothers mouth.
If Loma fought Figueroa you'd tear him apart for it and you know it. If he fought the 130 lbs equivalent of Figueroa (probably Marriaga or Sosa) you'd go even more crazy.Comment

Not being a fan of a boxer doesn't equate to hating them. I'm not a fan of Lomo which means I'm neutral towards him. I think he beats Rigo because he's younger, bigger and on the same skill level. I like boxing skills but Lomo so far doesn't get me excited. So aren't you painting with a broad brush. So, he didn't move to 130 and beat a champion after being the reigning 126 champion? No, that's fine. You can be neutral. I'm neutral to most boxers but there's clearly a lot of posters that are not neutral and rather than not be a fan or be neutral are haters that will always pick against that fighter, say he will lose to a, b, c, d, e fighter, that he's ducking this guy, that guy, this guy, that other guy and then when he beats some of those guys they diminish the win and move on with the guys that will kill him or that he will duck. Not being a fan of a boxer doesn't equate to hating them. It's often the usual suspects and there's a reason beyond boxing for them. An example would be a Floyd fanboy also happens to love Ward, but hates GGG and now hates Loma, loves Rigo and loves Wilder and hates Joshua. If Rigo loses, they will probably jump onto Mikey Garcia's bandwagon and pretend they never liked Rigo or thought he was any good and if Wilder loses it will be on to the next guy. Some fans picks sides and it's hate, hate, hate and on multiple guys. They also seem to just latch onto an undefeated guy (who fits their agendas) and give up on him once there's a loss. It's all over this board.Last edited by chrisJS; 11-29-2017, 12:25 PM.Comment

They aren't Boxing fans in my opinion. They also aren't really real fans of the fighters they lust over online because they are too cheap to pony up the funds to go and watch them live. They are armchair fanboys. That's not a knock on folks who can't make it to the fights that's a knock on those that voice such strong opinions and take fandom to whole new levels and don't even go to the fights.
A real Boxing fan wouldn't hate fighters based on where they come from or their skin color. A sick **** would. A real boxing fan can talk boxing intelligently and respectfully giving respect to the competitors.Last edited by chrisJS; 11-29-2017, 12:38 PM.Comment
