The only time I remember Loma fans wanting this fight was when Loma was still at 126 and Rigo was running his mouth.
Since Loma moved up to 130 not many, other than Rigo fans that still thought everybody, including Loma, were ducking him, wanted this fight that badly.
I always said that if Rigo still wanted the fight he should at least fight a few times at 130 or even at 126. But he has been content staying at 122, which has been a pretty dull division for years now.
There are people that have even said that Loma moved up to 130 to duck Rigo.
And don't worry Loma-Garcia fight will happen as long as Mikey stays at 135. With Mikey being as impatient as he is I don't see him staying at 135 all that long.
I prefer to see Loma clean up 130 before moving up, because I know people will say he ducked Berchelt, Salido, and Farmer if he moved up next. It's a no win either way. If he doesn't move up next he is ducking Mikey and Linares. If he does move up he is ducking all the other fighters at 130, so I say Loma should stay at 130, for now, and clean house. There are still some interesting fights there.
I won't give Loma credit for wins he never actually got, unlike fans of other fighters. I prefer to see him actually beat the guys at 130 instead of just pretending he beat them.
I predict on December 10th moving forward the Rigo "fans" which are mostly just Eastern Euro haters will give him on Rigo and move onto Mikey Garcia. Mikey will be the new guy Loma is avoiding because he would get destroyed by him. The same Mikey who "called out" and demanded a Linares fight - even asked the WBC not to mandate it and then refused the fight. Yes, he will be the one Loma is "ducking". Eventually he will decide to fight Loma (unless he runs to 140 or 147) and Loma will win and then somebody else will be the new guy. He will be thrown onto the scrap heap with Russell, Walters and Rigo as guys that Loma will A) duck and B) lose badly too only to then be ignored and labeled as nothing fighters.
If he moves up he's ducking Berchelt, Davis, Salido (despite offering him what 3 great paydays now and declining everyone after admitting to liking the purse?) if he fights any of them he's ducking Linares and Garcia. If he fights and beats them all he's ducking Crawford or the next undefeated guy at 140.

If he beats Rigo and proves you wrong would you give him credit? Or will you just dismiss it like the Walters fight when he proved you wrong? Don't want to make any assumptions but you probably called the Russell fight too (that is if you were paying attention to Loma by then or only gained your insecurity later).
If Loma was black you'd be all over him and you know it. MANY here would. Same dudes that love Floyd and Ward and hate GGG but love Rigo because they are "hardcore fans that love boxing skill" yet hate Loma and love Wilder.

Al Haymon is the one to blame not Arum! Arum is not that relevant anymore but Haymon is worse for boxing than Arum ever was!

If Loma fought Figueroa you'd tear him apart for it and you know it. If he fought the 130 lbs equivalent of Figueroa (probably Marriaga or Sosa) you'd go even more crazy.

It's often the usual suspects and there's a reason beyond boxing for them. An example would be a Floyd fanboy also happens to love Ward, but hates GGG and now hates Loma, loves Rigo and loves Wilder and hates Joshua. If Rigo loses, they will probably jump onto Mikey Garcia's bandwagon and pretend they never liked Rigo or thought he was any good and if Wilder loses it will be on to the next guy. Some fans picks sides and it's hate, hate, hate and on multiple guys. They also seem to just latch onto an undefeated guy (who fits their agendas) and give up on him once there's a loss. It's all over this board.Last edited by chrisJS; 11-29-2017, 12:25 PM.

A real Boxing fan wouldn't hate fighters based on where they come from or their skin color. A sick **** would. A real boxing fan can talk boxing intelligently and respectfully giving respect to the competitors.Last edited by chrisJS; 11-29-2017, 12:38 PM.
