Totally agree as a subscriber to HBO. Eubanks vs Groves should be a lot more competitive than Kova vs Shabransky. I'd love to see the remainder of both tourneys or at least the finals of the cruisers.

ESPN is putting the best fight this year and free. Loma vs Rigo. Everyone know both Loma and Rigo are more skilled than Canelo and GGG.

Showtime doesn't need WBSS because of the high quality there prutting on.

So it's going to be interesting to see if any of the cable networks pick up the series.
I keep hearing over & over about these so called great fights on Showtime yet Id like to hear a list. To me their the cherrypicker network that panders to their own fighters & the commentators which are garbage lick their stars ass at every turn worse than even hbo.

This guy's a joke, wtf did he expect show/HBO would do go with fighters known to the USA fighting in usa on primetime,or go with fights taking place across the globe & between completly unknowns in the daytime.

Well, he's right about this. I'd rather watch the semis of the two tournaments than Jacobs-Arias, Kovalev-whatshisname, or Cotto-Ali. None of those matchups are competitive and they hold little interest.

Quit hating b itch! Canelo is the biggest star in boxing and he's got networks fighting for his services.
That simple. You punk ass b itch!

Yea, there's 2 flips to this coin.

As a proud Yank, I do have to admit that the US doesn't support boxing enough. We are in a knee jerk situation concerning MMA, where we've seen the ceiling on it, but we can't figure out which is the most entertaining sport, Boxing or MMA. That's one of the reasons the WBSS and even domestic bouts are a hard sell.

                  -On the other hand-

As good as Eubank looks, and some others, we just don't know them because many of those fighters don't cross the pond and get exposure. Some are even a little sub par because they stay in the small pond and don't have world class experience.

There's probably a lot of other reasons but these 2 stand out to me.

I'd like to see this one WatchESPN or something, but come on.... none of these fights are in America and not only do they not feature Americans, they don't feature anyone even slightly known here.

Plus HBO is already pushing all of Duva's European fighters, and Showtimes putting every extra nickel towards the heavyweights.

This tournament doesn't fit anywhere on American TV right now.

I'm frustrated and angry as well!

The cruiserweights almost always make up for some good @ss backburners that gets usually underlooked!

I'm surprised HBO don't wanna get behind the likes of Gassiev or Lebedev, both guys are hard punchers and always come forward!

I'm surprised Showtime didn't want Dorticos, a Cuban Knockout artist with boxing skills who's based in Florida!

I share his sentiments, Gassiev vs Doritos is a must see , don't blink type of fight with no chance of hearing the final bell!
