Why does Vitali get a pass for tiring vs fat Lewis?

When so much is made about AJ gassing vs Wlad? I'm no AJ fan but the double standards here are clear and laughable. 6 rounds into their fight both men were DEAD tired with Lewis coming on stronger. Vitali does have a much higher work rate than AJ but his punches don't do half the damage.

-Lewis was 256lbs, the WORST shape of his entire career.
-He'd been violently KO'd 2 years earlier by Rahman.
-He hadn't fought in a year since Tyson and gained 7lbs of pure fat since then.
-Took the fight on 2 weeks notice

-Vitali was already 32 years old with 7 years pro experience and 33 fights.

    Meanwhile...

-Wlad was 240lbs, his BEST and lightest condition since 2009.
-1.5 years earlier he was a huge favorite to beat Fury at -500
-Picked up one of his best career wins over Pulev in late 2014
-Had a full training camp to prepare

-AJ was 27 years old with 3.5 years pro experience and 18 fights.

This was Vitali gassed badly at the end of the 6th with Lewis coming on strong from the 3rd round. All Vitali could do for 80% of this round was hold, the man was DONE.

Get a pass? He was beating the guy and got screwed, but people STILL refuse to acknowledge that he was the better fighter that night. If anything, he doesn't get enough credit for that fight.

Vitali Klitschko almost went blind in that fight, a punch caused the cut not a head but, Lewis was on the verge of killing the man, and Vitali quit against Byrd prior to that, the man deserves zero credit for being a little b1tch

Vitali was up by 2 rounds, 4-2, on the judges scorecards with the fight arguably being a draw at the stoppage.

Lewis came on in the 3rd round and his 6th was his best round of the fight. By the 6th round Vitali was holding on for dear life from a monster uppercut and held literally the last 20 secs of the round looking like he was about to topple over.

Lewis was coming on, Vitali was fading fast as evidenced by all his holding. It was either he go blind from a cut caused by Lewis hitting his face or get KO'd. Either way he was dead tired and holding for dear life vs an obese Lewis.

Lewis goes for a 1-2 combo while Vitali goes straight for another hold, still manages to land a hard uppercut

Got screwed? What an idiot. He'd have had to retire due to the damage to his face if that fight had continued. He was close to being blinded as it was.

Lewis was starting to get to him but Vitali was ahead. If the fight Bitali would have gone on he would have got KOed.

vitali never beat anyone worth a damn and is one of the most overrated fighters on this forum. Lennox lewis won fair and square after barely training. As much as it upsets people on here, theres no prizes for 'a good effort' or 'being ahead on the scorecards when stopped', he lost.

he got 'screwed'? what did the boxing Illuminati give him that cut inbetween rounds? He gets a ton of credit everytime i read about that fight but he deserves more, for winning a couple of rounds against a fat semi retired LL on 2 weeks notice?
your posts get more and more dumb every time i read them ffs.

Both were tired but Lewis still had power on his punches, Vitali had none.

He doesn't need a pass because he was winning the fight and wasn't tiring. Lewis was the one who was tiring and on the way to getting knocked out when the fight was stopped because of the bad cut. Lewis turned down a big money rematch and retired instead. Lewis cut Vitali with legal blows so he won the fight fair and square. That's boxing. It's a good thing for Lewis that he did open up that large cut. If he hadn't been cut I am sure Vitali would have soon KOd Lewis as he was hurting him many times and things looked very bad for Lewis. No pass required for Vitali.
