Which Boxers in 2017 took most risk?

I'm not talking about fighters that have to take risk(to help build profile and earn money fights), but I'm talking about guys who already have it made with a fan base, and are guaranteed big purses no matter what. Which fighters in that category took the biggest risk that they necessarily did not have to take? Pretty much the kind of fighters that true boxing fans love the most. Who were the risk takers of 2017?

I think Joshua did as this guy could have still been nobodies to build experience but he fought the former champ Wlad and a formidable contender in Takam. Canelo faced GGG as well which can't be ignored.

In all honesty it's gotta be Canelo!

Everyone was clowning him even though he has one of the best resumes in boxing and has shown willingness to fight people some people said he shouldn't!

He fought GGG two and half years earlier than most of his haters predicted or in other cases.....period!

He was destined to be a sacrificial lamb to boost GGG's hype and the fight was supposed to be GGG's coming out party!

It was a big risky fight with him having his first at 160 as well!

He was already a star, have a fanbase and brought crowds, casual interest and money...he didn't need ggg but STILL signed the contract and looks to be heading for another go at him next year!

Estrada and Cuadras fighting each other for around $60-70k when they could have just made similar in Mexico in tune-ups and waited for a title shot or payday. They put it all on the line to get that #1 contender spot.

It's Rigo by a mile, jumping up 2 weight classes to fight a elite p4p talent in Loma. If/when he loses he'll probably never get another big fight. I doubt the risk pays off as well. Big props to Rigo anyway for striving to be great and wanting to fight the best!

Canelo (surprisingly) & Jacobs (though he came in heavy to bolster himself) for facing Golovkin. Joshua for facing Klitschko, (though he's aging, he was unbeaten for 10 years before Fury). Chocolatito Gonzalez for rematching Sor Rungvisai. Andre Ward for facing "Krusher" Kovalev.

If the fight would have gone through, Wilder fighting Ortiz was a pretty high risk and low reward.
Ortiz was seen as a legit thread, but has no following and no promotional power behind him to force fights.
If wilder had lost, everyone would have called him a hype job.
If he had won, everyone would have said that Ortiz was ancient, inactive and looked bad in his last three fights.

                Edit:
Although... if I think about it, people give Wilder credit for knocking out a washed up, inactive and shot Stiverne lol.

Ward in his rematch with Kovalev, Joshua in his fight with Wlad, Charlo in his mandatory with lubin, Brook in his mandatory in Spence. All could have avoid taking those fights at that point of their careers.
