Sons of Cuba- Christian Martinez update

Hey folks, I think many of you guys have seen Sons of Cuba documentary movie about Cuban Amateur boxing. If you havent seen it, you better do it, it is really damn good shot. I want to update some info about Movie´s main star Christian "Son of Cuba" Martinez. Since the movie he managed to win Cuban National championship four more times but sad part of story is that he didnt get to Olympic team and in my opinion that took lot from him. Now he was invited to join Slovakian National team under coaching of former WBO LWH title challenger Tomas Kovacs. His main goal now is to qualify to Olympics, but to do so he has to win National Championship(then European championship) which is next week. He has record 137-8 (two of losses are from slovakia i have seen one of his bout where he was"defeated" in my opinion he did enough to secure win thus he lost 5:0), i am worried that Slovakian boxing politics could hurt him, people dont want to see Cuban dude taking spot in Slovakian national team which means slovakian boxer wont get chance to represent his country. He is nice, humble guy that was unlucky in Cuba now chasing his dream in Europe, he is also son of olympic medailist Luis Martinez. I respect him bcs he lives all alone, he does not understand slovakian language, he is short of money and has to rely on himself.

He won tournament in Hungary last month here you can watch his performance.

          What's the plan though?

Has he left Cuba? Is there a plan to turn pro? What?

Need a reason to care, tbh

He is in Slovakia atm. Nope he wants to participe in Olympics 2020 Tokyo that is his main goal. Anything after that is mystery. He doesnt know what will be next after that
