While I saw Floyd hug and promise Al Haymon and doubt he comes back...

It wouldn't surprise me for the Australia PM to offer to run the country into serious debt to get the fight against Jeff "The Hornet" Horn. Which I'd totally pay to see just because.

There is no way in hell Mayweather will fight the winner of GGG vs Canelo. He made a green Canelo drain down to 152 4 years ago and GGG tried to fight him at 154 when he held two belts at that weight that he never defended. Now all of a sudden at age 41 he will fighter the winner of GGG vs Canelo at 160 pounds?????? If Mayweather comes back it will be to fight someone he is sure he can beat as usual. He might fight a decent welterweight but nobody bigger than 147. He won't fight Crawford, Thurman or Spence. His 0 is precious to him and he won't take risks with it at this late date. I doubt he will come back at all unless it's for a rematch with Conor.

Mayweather wants Pacquiao to sign with Mayweather promotions when his Top Rank contract expires at the end of the year.

A rematch is being dangled to get Pacquiao to sign.

Which would allow Mayweather to be the sole promoter for what, at worst, would be the third biggest fight of all time.

Unless there's some dire financial situation I'm not aware of I can't see him fighting again.

The McGregor stuff will not sell a second time. He could maybe get another fight with Manny to sell but again nothing close to the original. He's 40 years old. He has one of the greatest careers of all time, an undefeated run and a legacy that will only improve in time. He has next to nothing to gain by fighting a killer like GGG at this point in his life. Even if he were to win, his detractors would still find a way to play it down.
