I hope he gets some proper medication or something, that's gotta be a miserable existence.

Regarding this fight, it was one of the weirdest fights I've seen in a long time. Couldn't tell if I was enjoying it or not but it held my attention on a night when I had a lot of distractions.

Barrera again proved that he's very solid, though not elite. Would be a worthy contender for anyone in the division right now.
If Kovalev was a little more dignified these guys wouldn't be so bad. It's too bad too because I like Kov.

Same man, same. It's so weird because I like Kovalev the fighter more than they do. But, they love Kovalev the drama queen, which is a side of the man I can't stand.

"Let's find out who is the best. Chickenson is on my list. This is very good for boxing. Let's do it."

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Hope now that all the belts are secured, and probably early next year will be the LHW 'champions' (except Chickenson) will be likely making involuntary defenses getting used to being champs and perhaps taking sparring partners resembling the targeted 'other belt holder(s)'.

But then again, time moves slowly in the boxing world. It could be at least another year before we see a Kovalev v Beterbiev, Bivol v Kovalev, or any other very enticing and highly anticipated unification fight.

The more likely scenario would be 18 months to two years before the hype and fireworks catch up to reality.

        Example: The heavyweight division.
