Which retired fighter do you miss the most?

For me it is Joe Calzaghe. I used to love regularly pwning nubs on here when Joe was around. I wonder if any people on here were around when I used to annoy the local fat Yanks to the point of reporting, just by referring to him as Smokin' Joe, The Real Smokin' Joe, etc. Cringeworthy now, but I was a teenager back then.

Joe Calzaghe for me as well. Though I wasn't a Floyd fan, I liked the anticipation around his fights. I miss that. After Ward and Mayweather retired, everyone now seems beatable. Floyd and Andre had that, "can anyone beat them?" factor.

Froch, Still remember his classic with Pascal as a young teenager on ITV a few years after i heavily got into boxing. what a underappreciated war that was.

Jermain Taylor another come from behind classic. the classic kessler fights, the Bute destruction as a big underdog, the groves fights.

He epitomised what i loved about boxing, someone who was not blessed with natural ability but got by on sheer heart, determination and the will to win.

Was coming into the thread to post Calzaghe but I see that's been taken care of, lol. Joe was a very exciting boxer to watch. I liked how he would adapt as the fight went on to gain advantages over his opponents, very smart boxer, crucially underrated as well.
