One thing PBC has going strong is the image of American stars, first and foremost. If Endeavor trusts Haymon, they will put in money and expect to see growth from the moment they invest.

I'd say PBC is in it's second phase. Wilder, Thurman and Spence Jr. are current American icons in boxing. The next priority is to continue marketing strategy for them and prepare for primetime NBC.

The real rumor is I'd expect to now see Brendan Schaub more active in affiliation with CBS Sports and boxing. He is a catalyst for various UFC fans to acquire.

PRIMETIME metrics for boxing is a prestigious goal. You worry about sustainability afterwards.

I can see SRL, Schaub, and Marv Albert being a really good mix. Paulie is good for Showtime, but he comes off too ****** and emotional for soccer mom husbands and NFLites. Schaub is more commercially safe, and having experience in the ring, his character isn't so bad.

Makes a lot of sense. Dana has said since the Floyd v Conor fight was announced that they wanted to get involved in Boxing. Makes a lot of sense as I don't think they would build everything from the ground up...takes far too long to build up that way. Matchroom had more money than Frank Warren but it took them about 6-7 years to build up to where they are now. I think Dana wants a stable ready which he can add to by packaging it right and obviously get the right TV deals. PBC was looking very promising at first with how active they were but it's been a pure dud the past year or so.

I'm still trying to figure where would such a rumor get started? The local barber shop... Strip club... Walmart parking lot...

You do realise that the UFC is basically in 5 Billion worth of debt.

It's called sustainable debt but its still debt. That's how most corporations work,.

They keep gobbling up other companies and building up more and more debt and survive by paying off the interest payments.

They can get to a point though that they're so big and so much debt that they just collaspe and get broken into little pieces and sold off to other corporations.

The UFC brought it’s own demise, and what it did was bring some UFC fans to boxing. With their prestigious champs of the past and some of those getting caught with roids... Or Rousey gone and Conor, they don’t have prestigious longevity like boxing.

UFC needs more stars. Floyd threw a wrench to show that boxing is no joke. Many UFC or MMA fighters by default always acknowledge how hard Boxing is.
