No idea if there is truth to it but there is currently a rumor that Haymon has been actively courting investors for PBC and that one of the interested parties is Endeavor, the parent company of UFC.
Rumor: Investors in Haymon’s PBC

Part of their contracts with NBC, Spike and ESPN was a clause that gave each network the option to buy the PBC brand and I assume the contracts to all fighters within the PBC.
None of the networks bit, because there wasn't enough proof that it was a money-making venture and the purchase price of PBC was reportedly very high.
I'm sure they would still like to pump money in, but it wont be easy because of all the money the prior investors lost.Comment

Too bad PBC got a record of pitting top fighters against a long list of cab drivers. Not to mention overpaying them. Thus it will never recover.
Just the mention of Lara and Charlo not fighting again is disgusting.
Hope PBC will just go away and let its part time boxers disappear from the sport.
Don't know why these people are wasting their prime years in meaningless fights.Last edited by rickJen; 11-24-2017, 11:19 PM.Comment

I applied for a PBC job. I want to be one of those dudes who stand and clap when a fighters name gets announced just before the ring instructions. The Watson Twins are rich. Here is a pic of their spare bedroom.

Endeavor and Haymon Boxing just made a ton of money working together on the most successful event in the history of fighting.
Endeavor now wants to take over boxing and Haymon has the most power in boxing. So at least exploring a buyout would make sense.Comment
