He really has been looking bad lately, he's getting old, but I always liked watching him so I'd like to see him put on a good performance. The most likely outcome is him getting ko'd imoComment

In his prime, Gamboa was as exciting as they come. But inactivity and the inevitable onset of age has made him ordinary. In his last fight, Yuri had no pop whatsoever. His speed is merely a shadow, and his lack of fundamentals has been exposed for good. He quit. Maybe he’s seeking redemption, but it’s too little too late.Comment

Absolutely.I haven't seen his last fight but he looked really bad against castellanos. Speed and reflexes didn't look the same. It's wishful thinking to believe he can somehow look like he used tooIn his prime, Gamboa was as exciting as they come. But inactivity and the inevitable onset of age has made him ordinary. Gamboa can maybe get 1 more big name opponent should he beat Sosa but I don't think he's got much left for a run. His greatest assets were an attribution of youth. Once youth is gone and you lose those attributes, it's down hill from there. Just ask Roy Jones Jr.Comment

Hoping Gamboa wins and he's permitted to fight on ESPN - would love to see Loma knock him the fk out or just make him quit like he did to Walters.
Loma is an underrated puncher - he has 7 KOs in 9 fights - and only fights top contenders...Comment
