Comments Thread For: Eddie Hearn Speaks With Tyson Fury, Offers To Guide Career

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom is very interested in working with former unified heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 KOs). Fury has been out of the ring since November 2015, when he traveled over to Germany to score an upset twelve round decision over Wladimir Klitschko to capture the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world titles.

Eddie hearn for me is arguably the best promoter in boxing right now..he's done a good job with fighters that aren't elite world class..I mean how the hell is whyte number 1 in the wbc shît list after the not convincing performance against chisora and beating up a washed up helenius?..crolla a world champ who aint that good..Ricky burns a 3 weight champ when there are better fighters out there including some of the ones who beat him that aren't multi weight class champs..just to name a few..fury needs to stick with hearn maybe like a co-promoting deal if he wants to win more than the wbo title and defend it in u.k halls that we know warren delivers for his fighters

If Fury as a free agent, why did Mick Hennessey send out a statement on his behalf on Thursday to announce the UKAD hearing?

Eddie Hearn wants to try to feed an unprepared Tyson Fury to Anthony Joshua. Tyson with his mind on the game, and in shape, beats AJ easily. There's no way they could rob him if fit. Current state Tyson probably would gas to a stand still after five or six rounds.

Now, with that in mind, Tyson can still prosper from this offer from Eddie Hearn. Deep down Hearn knows that it makes sense to get onside with Tyson too. If he does get fit then he is the top dog in the Heavyweight division again in a year or two.

So both can prosper, and both can take advantage of eachother to an extent. Tyson just needs to accept that he isn't ready for the big fights yet. Face facts and ease back in and do it the right way, over a sustained period. No money grabs. I am confident he will see it the same way. His family are smart people and will look after their best interests. No amount of money will buy their honour at the end of the day.

Hearn would be wise to remember what happened to Frank Warren .Hearn now seems to think he a celebratory promoter who everyone has to agree with ........take heed no so fast Eddie!

They rather re-surect Fury's career than face Wilder. There is no saying in what condition Fury will be fighting in.

Boxing is physical and mental and Fury has abused both, his mind and his body

Fury has said it himself today, said if anyone wants to fight deal directly with him from now on

Probably makes sense for all involved. Fury could have a comeback vs Whyte on PPV with all the Sky hype behind it. Can't wait to read years of bitter Frank Warren articles if it does happen.
