I mean he did totally gas against a big green Hurd. That was some dumb boxing. Bad strategy lost him the fight. He comes up short at the championship level now after losing to the weakest belt holder in the division.

Hurd is a big ass 154 pounder though it is not like Trout is lying about that and that size did play a role in how that fight went because Hurd was able to absorb Trouts damage like a damp shammy.

Still Hurd made the weight so he won fair and square using his advantages relatively properly although he certainly didn't make it easy.
