Comments Thread For: Saunders: I'll Beat Lemieux Convincingly, No Robbery Worries

With less than a month to go until he travels to Canada, Billy Joe Saunders is relaxed about taking on David Lemieux in his hometown. Saunders puts his WBO world middleweight crown on the line against the heavy-handed Lemieux, and admits he wants a convincing win to avoid any doubts should the judges be required.

B-B-B-Billy Blowhard gets Blown out. Lemieux can box better than him.

You better knock him out. Lemieux already has a date with Canelo lined up for May 5th if he wins.

Please, Mr.Lemieux , you are way more exciting and active of a fighter than this guy. He is more technically sound, but you have improved a ton since the Trip G loss. Hurt him early, jab him often, and mix those power punches in randomly. You have decent "D" these days, more than enough to deal with the fairly light punching by contrast BJS. You get into a fight where you follow him around and allow him control of the ring, you lose. But that is the only way. Please.... I really don't want to have to endure a "paint drying" MW title defense anymore.

Credit where credit is due department: Points to Saunders for taking this fight. He actually improved in my eyes a ton as he could have just boxed cabbage until he got one of the 2 big paydays in the ring. He should be seen as the favorite as he is the better "boxer" and he is champ, but Lemieux is the better "fighter" in my opinion, if you understand my point.

Billy Joe is fast enough to give Lemieux problems but can he be able to contain those hard punches from Lemieux?

An easy night for BJS; too skillful, too savvy, maybe even a late stoppage. Lemieux is way too predictable and is basically a one dimensional ****er.
