I would agree with the post saying that you should spend more time writing rather than getting into forum battles. Those don't get you anywhere, I know, I've had a few myself but your writing is very good and that can really get you somewhere. I really like how you break down all the factors involved in the Cotto fight.
Thanks alot bro. I don't take none of these E-beefs seriously, they're for fun. Strictly LOLage, you know what I mean. Thanks for the kind words bro

My pleasure. I'm a writer too, so I always give credit when I see someone who presents themselves well. You've obviously got it, and I'm impressed by what I've seen. I don't know if you even care but I've noticed that sometimes when you write an analytical piece, there's always someone who says the article is too long. They're not. Keep it up and write as long as you need to to get your point across. When you write for a magazine or newspaper, they'll tell you how many words they want, but for now on a free forum, write however much you need to. Good luck!

Thanks alot, I really appreciate getting advice from writers. I like to listen to the writers' feedback because thats how you learn, from experience. Where might I have seen your work?

Yeah, I do tend to write alot but its only to get my point across accurately and abit of obsession with perfectionism. It's actually pretty funny. I wrote my first article on my last ban from this site. I was at the Manny Pacquiao website where I had no one to flame so was forced to talk boxing. In a thread about Castillo-Corrales, I was replying mad long and was organizing my ideas well and then the light bulb went off in my head to just make it an article. I spent an hour writing and then submitted it to a bunch of forums, including this one. I guess BPP remembered my real name and then said something to the effect of

I was like and then my next couple articles were like 800 words with meticulous detail. I guess when you have no one to flame and the only spam on the site you chill at is in tagalog, you gotta do something to pass the time. Thanks alot bro for the advice

I don't have anything printed or published yet, except for a short story in some small publishing company's book of short stories about 13 years ago. I currently am working on one novel and am near completion, maybe within the next 6 months to a year that will be ready to do something with and I am in the early stages of another novel and I've written a few screenplays. I've entered a couple in contests and came in the quarter finals with one but didn't win, still felt good though to get that high. With writing you have to keep trying and not give up if something doesn't go the way you want it to.
Sometimes I feel like writing more analytical or journalistic pieces like you are doing and one of these times I actually will. But what you're doing is a good thing and I think if you choose to, you could write for Ring Magazine or some other magazine in no time. Each article you write is practice and also gives you a portfolio to present to these places. Like I said before, good luck and keep it up!

WOW, you think I could write for Ring? I'm still working on my writing, but I like my progress so far. I do other kinds of writing, and have been in op/ed section of newspapers. I want to write a book someday, but screenplays are too advanced for me. The kind of creativity in those is something else. Thanks alot for the advice, I can use all the tips I can get.
