I think it's an all inclusive gym for boxers and soccer moms alike I read they're gonna hire real boxing trainers

Meanwhile all you haters waste your time trying to tell anyone who will listen that he's "broke" when his "broke" would be your wildest dream come true.
I seriously doubt they get a critical mass of people to work out in a gym with Floyd's name on it. As much as I love him as a boxer, his name is very taboo to women in the US. I'm not going to a gym that only has guys walking around. Most women cringe whenever his name comes up. Even at his fight parties a fair amount of time is spent debating his domestic violence record with women.

He should've left his name off the gym imo.

There's no doubt that he splits opinion with people, but his name alone has a crazy amount of power so if he can make it unique, different and interesting it will be successful. If it's true that his clothing line is making $10 million plus a year and that Girl Collection is makig $1 million plus each months then there's no reason to believe this couldn't do similar numbers. He just needs to find ways to diversify from the other gyms out there then it will take off. Only a matter of time until he's a billionaire. Probably 2 more years at the most. Seems like he has a lot of different plans now that boxing is over. The idea of him going broke is just ridiculous. Even now that he's out the game he's probably still making more money than anyone in it. Which says a lot about how smart the man is. Like him or not.

people hated floyd and paid to watch him lose

maybe they will hate him so much they will pay to work out in a gym with his name on it while complaining "this gym sucks" but they keep going back.

Women voted for trump so who's to say they won't work out at Floyd's gym? It's very hard to read women who reside in the U.S. I lot of men want to take away a lot of women rights but those same women still vote for these guys while asking for equal rights! Very confusing to me but I'm sure Floyd's gym will do fine or at the least generate just enough to keep it up & running.

Will be interesting to see what the first location ends up looking like, tbh. If it's sensible enough and knows what it actually is trying to be (more Planet fitness than 24, with a good dose of things for the boxing fitness crowd) I think it could work.

LA, Chicago, Miami, New York, Toronto, Houston, etc. The limiting issue would likely be finding the local partner to actually run the locations (could remedy a lot of that by simply partnering with fitness center operators who are already delivering in their cities and use the Mayweather name to take those operators regional/statewide).

                      Mayweather: "I'd beat GGG."

Same Mayweather: Never fought GGG - fought Berto and Conor instead.
