Yes he would be totally distraught because David's plan was to beat Bellew and then take the belt off Joseph Parker which puts him in the position to fight AJ. I think Haye is buying time as it's been ****in with him psychologically that if he loses again to bellend he will never be able to live it down & would forever be a laughing stock in the UK, esp. after he was claiming hed put bell end on ho****e & he himself ended up in the hospital.
