I haven't seen Malignaggi so I can't really predict the outcome of this fight, but he must have some movement to stay away from Cotto for 12 rounds.

I hope Cotto brutally KOs him, hopefully a left hook to the body that leaves him writhing around on the floor, smearing mascara all over the ring.

Malignaggi can move pretty good, but I've never seen Cotto fight..you can find Malignaggi's match verse Cano in the fight video thread..

Are you simply saying you disagree because I said 9th? I think Paulie will outbox Cotto. However, Cotto will still stalk and get caught up on the ropes in the 9th. Cotto wont land any big shots I think until the 9th either. Paulie will be getting tired and miss-step or miscalculate distance and get caught and wrestled into the ropes and go out on his feet. Cotto doesn't nescesarily have to adapt to Paulie.... he just has to wait. Nobody boxes the perfect match so when he ****s up Cotto just has to pounce. This is all merely speculation though, so we'll find out tommorow night.

But I think, if the 9th comes and Cotto hasnt landed anything then hints of Lacy Calzaghe come into play. Puncher vs Boxer. Puncher gets disheartened, loses punch power from fatigue. Gets outboxed, perhaps picks up an injury (cut or hand). I dunno, call me psychic but I just think if the 9th comes its basically gonna go to the cards... The other alternative being Cotto stops him inside 6.

Paulie could very well win by decision, but I think we have a better chance of George W. Bush doing something that benefits the country instead of his oilfield cronies than we have of seeing Malignaggi KOing the toughest fighter he has ever faced.

I'm amazed that 10 out of the 28 staff are picking Paulie (two of them by way of KO -which is ridiculous). I thought they were more knowledgeable. Cotto is going to make this metrosexual quit and win by TKO before the 10th. This kid just talk a lot but he is going to show no heart.

I suppose its possible that Cotto is stopped on cuts, but lets face it, hes no ricky hatton. his face usually looks good after a fight.
