      I Was Born Ready.

This clown, I have a question for lil G-string - are you ready to take more of Canelo's bombs?! cause Canelo was 'Born Ready' ; it took you ten years to step up chump! this is like Canelos ninth time doing it on the grand stage ( Las Vegas U.S.A ). Gennady wont be saved by the judges this time.

To be fair it's a two way street when it comes to bias. Canelo is abit shorter than Golovkin but he's also got youth on he's side. People say if Canelo had better stamina this and that but that's like saying if Golovkin had better speed this and that. Nothing wrong with boxing and moving but I think alot of fans were hoping for abit more action, more trading and engagement. I don't recall Canelo boxing like that before. It wasn't a great fight. Hope the rematch delivers abit more drama.

Still surprising that after all this time, plenty of time to rewatch it, there are still GGGaholics crowing like it was an obvious blowout win for their hero. If he was so great, why didn't he cut off the ring instead of essentially following Canelo around the whole fight? Meanwhile Canelo was slipping punches the entire fight, showing excellent defensive moves, and being aggressive with combos when appropriate.

I had it either a draw or 1 point win for GGG, can't remember, and this was after watching it close up on a big screen at a theater.

I hope GGG is in fact ready for the rematch, because he sure as he!! wasn't ready for the first match.

                  Canelo won this fight....

4 ways to score a boxing match...

                  3. Defense

                  4. Hard and Clean Punches
Most people didn't score Canelo's defensive prowess. The way he made GGG miss often thru the night was Pernell Whitaker-like.... Canelo also landed the flashier/clean harder punches as well as took away GGG's effective aggressiveness by countering him all night.

Also most people try and use "activity" as a way to score a fight. Notice it's not mentioned above. "Activity" can only be counted/scored as part of ring generalship. Fighters like Santa Cruz where high volume punching is how they control a fight!

NO matter how you guys spin it!! Golovkin looks average! A monster just swingin jabs on fight night as his strategy to beat Canelo Alvarez? FFS that's comical.

Your on the wrong side of this argument.
