No. Canelo has to make more changes than Golovkin in order to win. One of the changes is physical. His stamina G has to change his strategy slightly if he wants a KO. All the physical attributes he needs to knockout Canelo are already in place. Anyway if Golovkin can't get the Canelo rematch soon, forget about Canelo go for the defense record. It looks like Golden Boy has a good chance of getting the Saunders Lemieux winner blocking unification. Golovkin should fire his promoter if that happens. How the hell did they sign a contract to fight without a rematch clause is beyond me.
And GGG couldnt hit the backside of a barn missing over 500 punches...Hellen Keller must of trained him

(Hopefully no early stoppage those suck).
Most felt Canelo won majority of the early and late rounds while GGG took the middle ones.

Folks should not be denigrated for having a different opinion than one's own. By the way, a simple heads up "your" should be replaced with "you are" or "you're," and Canella is misspelled. the Spanish word for cinnamon is spelled with one L, Canela.

When I first saw the fight, I gave the nod to Alvarez, but after watching several replays, I now think GGG edged him out. I was a close fight. The rematch will settle the things.
Good post but your wasting your time. He scored the fight 14 rounds to 2 in favor of GGG. He cant even add right gave GGG a bunch of 11-7 rounds...

I give GGG that. He has a GRANITE Chin... He took some Helacous uppercuts that would of dropped most.

Wouldnt miss it for the world. It's a must see for 2018.

Honestly i gave GGG the fight 7 rounds to 5 but can easily see it going the other way. Many rounds could of went either way. More then 7?? I start questioning their scorecards. More than 8 im calling BS.

If you look at FAIR score cards most gave majority of the early and late rounds to Canelo and almost all the middle ones to GGG. 7-5 either way is very fair. Heck even a draw IMO is ok. 8 rounds or more on a fight this close woth no KD's is BS

People like to think people forget with time. Right after the fight most analyst and boxers had GGG winning 7-5 8-4 but it was scored a draw.

If Canelo doesn't take the fight and then goes on to fights Lumi or Saunders that tells you all you need to know about Canelo and he might even have more trouble with Saunders than he thinks...

No my friend you’re right and after the rematch just shrug your shoulders and say “told ya so”...earlier stoppages do suck have been kind of a recent trend lately. I expect a great second fight that’s basically a round 13
