    Miguel cotto is overrated

Now I Like Cotto as a fighter, but he's lost more career defining fights than won. imo he's overrated. Here's why
    1. Lost to Floyd
    2. Lost to Canelo
    3. Lost to Pac
    4. Lost to Margarito(No proof of plaster just assumption)
    5. Got a Robbery win against Shane Mosley(Went to hospital after)
    6. Was getting tortured by Zab who had 4 losses at the time
    7. Went life and death with Torres
    8. Beat an out of prime Sergio Martinez
    9. Almost got ko'd by Chop Chop
    10. Beating a undefeated Pillow punching Malignaggi + Redeeming his first loss to Margarito were his Most significant wins

I JUST DON'T SEE THE GREATNESS SMH WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK???

I always thought the same. He failed at the top level.

He is still a good fighter but far from ATG. Borderline hof

Cotto is the most overrated fighter of our era...dude only was choosen for the puerto rican business aspect. the highlight win of his career will always and only be the close 2007 shane mosley win. cotto lovers hate hearing and reading truth.

#10 he only beat margarito thanks to manny's beatdown on tony.that eye was damaged goods and we all know it. add the fact that instead of fighting a prime sergio or any other top 154 lbs he fought a bum legged foreman. choose to fight a "B" level champion called jennings instead of paul williams. the whole middleweight run is a farce.

I've always thought the same. He was only popular because ricans would buy his ppvs in droves, meaning he was goid business for HBO but he was a world level fighter not an elite one.

He lost bad every time he stepped up and even had some losses to B level guys sprinkled in too.

Entertaining to watch, good fighter but hella overrated.

he was a star just for being average. like verdejo will be if he can even get to average. a shame floyd ducked him when it was a superfight though. would have given him a chance at a great win since that style is easier for him than marg or pac which took his soul

Yeah, but I still would favor Prime Cotto vs. today's welterweights.
