Im sorry what fights do you watch of Hatton? I didnt see any punch punch clinche strat by Hatton til the 11th of his fight with Collazo.

Collazo was clinching just as much, the ref yelled at both of them.

    Your biased.

I like Hatton, but you're wrong on that one, man. Hatton was initiating clinches as of the second roud. Collazo opened up a bit in the second and Hatton did not know what to do about it; he just knew he couldn't stay in punching range for long. Collazo was not innocent either, but Hatton fought uncharacteristically all night and that was perhaps due to him not expecting Collazo to hurt him as he did.

Hatton does not usually clinch much at all; he works on the inside and when he has his position right he usually steps left and digs some double and triple hooks to the head and body or squares up and goes up and down with the right. All of that was missing from Hatton's work when he had Collazo backed up on the ropes.

What fights have you watched?? If you don't already know that this is the way hatton fights you should go back and watch some video of him. He tries to tire his opponents by leaning on them, clinching etc.. Come on man that's an easy call. Don't take my opinion as if I'm bashing the guy because I'm not. He seems like a great guy and shows a lot of heart in the ring.

I'm being biased because I'm saying that's his style...

I'm a cotto fan, but to say he kills Hatton at 140 is madness. I agree with JuyJuy, Hatton would drown him past round 6.

See, It's all a matter of opinion & who you ask.
Re read the boxing analysts view of the KT-Hatton fight and the posts on this board and see if you still have most people thinking Tzsyu was past it BEFORE the Hatton fight.

Of course, as soon as he was retired on his stool.....evryones opinion changed.

Read the first page, and thought to myself.

"EXIGE, dont you think the Cotto nuthugging is just as bad as the Pac-Man ball fondling? Yes, it is, EXIGE."

I don't think you have seen any Hatton fights if you think Hatton just comes at you... Yeah hes got a A++ body shot that tears down stanima doesn't mean he just comes at you.

... I had KT winning that fight by a round before the old man turned into a quitter.

I had a similar score at the time, but rewatching it impassively I think it would be difficult to not have Hatton up by the time KT quit.
