Billy Graham talkin **** about Cotto...

    Graham: Cotto not a 140-pounder!

Ricky Hatton's trainer Billy Graham says Miguel Cotto has a serious task ahead of him this weekend. "I think Cotto is a brilliant fighter," Graham said. "He's clever and he's lethal with his hooks. But he's not a junior welterweight, he shouldn't be there anymore, that is obvious. If he gets beat because he's struggling to make the weight this weekend it would be a travesty on the part of his management.....Cotto really hasn't got much in the tank - not at this weight. He's survived some rocky moments recently because of his talent, but he's getting into these situations in the first place because he's weak at the weight." Graham stopped short of predicting an upset this weekend in New York, but said, "If Paulie Malignaggi can get some work out of Cotto (tire him out), he gives himself a real chance of nicking it on points."

As for Cotto vs Hatton? "I think it'd be a real hard fight with Ricky winning anyway( ), but I'd especially take Cotto [as a Hatton opponent] at junior welterweight in a heartbeat. At junior welterweight, Cotto doesn't have enough strength to live with Ricky Hatton beyond the opening rounds."

I don't think any version of Cotto could beat Hatton at 140 if Hatton was at his best, as good as Cotto is I think he'd be out-bodypunched and opened up with Hatton delivering the knockout drops with the left hook (off a right hand feint).

At 147, I don't know. We don't know if Hatton can grow into the welterweight division yet (he can still make 140 EASY).

        cotto beats hatton

i just cant take hatton seriously. I was not impressed at all with hatton vs collazo. He did not have any power at all and has terrrible defense. I guess we'll have to wait until he fights someone with credibility in the US. I really can't wait till he gets KTFO.

Cotto is a better boxer and stronger than Hatton, lets see what happens when Cotto moves up, who is Hatton going to fight at 140? He will have no choice but to move up.

Hatton would whoop Cottos ass at any weight, styles make fights and Collazo had the style to beat Hatton. I warned the Hatton fans they were in for a shocker when he had trouble before he met Collazo and Im warning you guys now. Hatton would look impressive against Cotto, Cotto is tailor made for Hatton, he cant lose.

Yes Cotto is a better boxer than Collazo but Cottos style goes hand in hand with a ass beating from Hatton.

I understand that you are behind your man Cotto, but can't you see that Graham is just telling the truth when it comes to Cotto's weight? Everyone knows that Cotto struggles like hell to make 140.

And I don't know you, but if Cotto loses or struggles against Malignaggi, who he should theoretically be far too powerful for, you and every other Cotto fan out there might be the first to reference the weight issue for Cotto.
