Comments Thread For: WBC Prez: Wilder-Joshua Must Happen Now, No Need To Delay

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman feels strongly that fight fans are now urgently clamouring for the unification fight between WBC champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) and WBA, IBF and IBO champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs), so squabbles about which boxer will get the most money shouldn't get in the way of who's going to lose their undefeated status.

Man, the WBC, Wilder, Parker, they ALL want some of that AJ money hahahahaha. The dude just fought a couple weeks ago and they've been on him like he stole something. Give the guy a break for a month. Let him enjoy his vacation and talk to Eddie Hearn if you want to make a fight. Stop making it a spectacle on Twitter and everywhere else. AJ will KO Wilder, Parker and Fury soon enough

Don't know why people don't feel being cheated by this Deontay guy.
You win a title to fight the top guys in the division, which were Fury and Klitschko at the time.
This Deontay guy had two years to set up a fight with them.
                He never did.
Can't we see this guy in a meaningful fight first before getting his shot at a superfight?

Did the WBC guy ever try to get Klitschko to unify?

Make the fight now!! Why wait!! I don't believe in letting a fight build up besides if the first fight is good they'll have a rematch that can bring in more money! That's the only thing I don't like about boxing is that politics get involved too much. I won't hold my breathe for this fight to get made NEXT. The big hurtle is that Joshua can fight anybody and make BIG money. Wilder can't do that and Parker can't do that. So the only way the fight gets done is when Joshua runs out of options but as long as he has options he is gonna milk it as long as possible! Why take a risk if you're Joshua when you got it made right now??
