Joshua took less for Martins to further his career. Greedy ****ers like Parker and Wilder know they are going to lose and want cash out money.

Times have changed though. Joshua overpaid because he was the challenger. Now, his profile has grown exponentially.

The Martin offer was made when all Joshua was was a buzzing UK attraction who'd just gotten to a world rating. Martin had the belt, so Joshua had to pay up.

Now, Joshua already has two belts, is a bonafide box office star, and all Parker is bringing is his trinket.

Maybe he ends up getting $5m but he wouldn't have merited it.

            Not gonna happen, here's why:

Higgins added: "I think the fight has to happen. It would be embarrassing for AJ to proclaim he wants unification, then not make a deal with [Deontay] Wilder or Parker. I'm sure AJ and Hearn have enough money for life, so it's about legacy and unification.
Mr Higgins wants AJ's money. Dibella can't offer him that.

It depends on the champion and the mandatory.

Did you notice following AJ's career his power hasn't been as effectual as he's risen his competition level, Whyte, Breazeale seven rounds, Takam 10 rounds the guy really should have been able to continue its a damned title fight and AJ was lost for ideas of how to actually stop him, the shell of Wladimir Klitschko 11 rounds, a stoppage when AJ was landing zero clean when he had Wlad on the ropes and AJ had completely emptied the tank himself, as he showed in the round he was dropped the round before he completely punched himself out. Parker has a far superior chin to Klitschko and is far from 41 years old.

I don't see how anyone can say with a degree certainty AJ would beat Parker. In fact I find it laughable.
Spot on,also the reason Parkers offer is way less than bums like Pulev is because he was being paid to throw the fight,& Parker isn't. When a fighters paid way more than they're worth for no reason it's obviously because they are getting extra to take a dive, esp.when Pulev was mandatory challenger & AJ could've just let it go to purse bid & only needed to pay him 25% I believe under WBA rules.

To top it off I think Pulev decided to take a fee to fake injury instead, that way he wouldn't be forced to dive,& then they could just pay Takam peanuts to step in & get an easy ko,but they still did what AJ has done in most his fights which is bribe the ref to keep ko streak going,AJ has had several early stoppages & its obvious why.

Anyone who says Pulev wasn't paid to step aside needs to ask why he did what no other fighter ever would which is pull out at last min 4 minor supposed injury in their last career payday & title shot?

Pulev surely also knows hes lined up 4 next yr when hell still be mando to AJ wba belt.

No fighter would give up millions of last payday because of a supposed minor injury, hell look at heiland who was willing to fight on 1 leg vs charlo.

did you read the article ?

they are offering Parker less than Martin/Pulev made

which means, they do not want that fight yet

no big deal, but keep it real

This post is just wrong on every level. It's widely recognised Pulev was in a for a career high purse, he dropped out due to one or two issues, he was carrying an injury an really wanted to show he's better on the stage he fought Klitschko at something that clearly rankles on him a fight he demonstrated expert timing with the jab but didnt bank on not being able to stand and trade with Klitschko, every other fighter he's always gone toe to toe with. Pulev grossly underrated Wlad and overestimated his own durability, dude had never legitimately been down, anyone who watched the Abell fight knows full well he was tripped hence why he stood on one foot to demonstrate his balance to the referee !

Pulev possibly knew he's going to factor into the WBA regular title shot against Oquendo, the WBA gives a wider cut of purses than the IBF, likely the real reason he ducked out of the IBF mandatory and not a genuine injury. Who really knows. Why would Pulev fight for 4m euros when he can bank closer to 6 for waiting a year ? Risky game but he's already a made man.

I don't get where you've got he's being paid to step aside by Hearn, why wouod Hearn pay him to step aside knowing full well he's going to come up again along the line.

Parker is a stern test, anyone who knows boxing knows he's a tough cat, he can ****, he can a punch. Hence why he's being lowballed, it's a potential fight AJ could lose.

For the record I don't believe JP is deserving of 60/40 split, neither Wilder for that matter. It sets a bad precedent to give JP 40 when they're likely to enter into Wilder negotiations with him expecting more than forty. JP shoudk be given no more than 70/30, hell I'm not sure he's even deserving of that big a split I don't believe Wilder is either !

                      Parker should accept 25-30 %

                      but, no less

if Joshua does not face Wilder/Parker soon, the 90k at Wembley will turn into 70k..... then 50k, etc
