While I agree with that, I don't think there's any chance Floyd would have ever lost to Pacquiao.

Look at the Mosley fight. A lot of people were pissed at Shane for moving the way he did and not making it a fight. I was explaining to the people the reason he was able to move like that on Pac was because he's very one dimensional. He comes in a straight line and doesn't mix up his shots at all. Floyd will do the same thing but he'll damn near win every round doing it and everyone will be pissed because he gave him a boxing lesson.

Manny was p4p#2 and WBO champ

Oscar was WBC champ at 154


so what am i missing here? all were way younger then Wlad and not coming off of dominating losses

Floyd was at the top of his game and those guys had lost recent fights and with the exception of Pacquaio had more than a years ring rust also.

Oscar was 2-2 (gift win over Sturm) and inactive for 12 months and recently KO'd.

Mosley was 38 (old for a welterweight), 16 months inactive and had failed to win 6 of his 12-13 fights coming in including a loss to Cotto.

Pacquaio was washed up and coming off 1 3-2 last five fights including a brutal KO loss.

Joshua is just starting out. Weak comparison.
