Any guesses about the Jacob's weigh in the ring

Seeing how Jacobs still looks like a toothpick in the ring, skinnier than DeGale or Jack... then surely all the big Super Middles are cruisers
Murata looks bigger than Jacobs. BJS is perhaps the only Middleweight who walks around at Cruiser...
How does he do it? Andy Lee was a toothpick compared to BJS in the ring... the same Andy Lee that was oversized by JCC...
Seeing how GGg’s Torso is bigger than Jacobs or Nelo... then surely Lil’G is a small middleweight and wait for it....!
154-168 is ez fomi!

He didn't look so much different from the weigh in, I'd say he was around 175-177, nothing crazy, most middleweight rehydrate to 170+, I think Jacobs looks bigger than everyone because of how his body weight is distributed, all his weight is up top, his legs are very skinny, kind of like Hearns or Roger Mayweather, these guys managed to make weight to fight at weight classes that are way lighter than what other fighters their height and size were fighting at because of weight distribution.
A guy like Canelo for example should be fighting at 147 or 154 max. if it wasn't for his big legs that no boxer needs, but these are genetics, nothing you can do about that really. This shouldn't be a reason to hate on the guy though, he's a great fighter regardless with an inspirational story, no need to hate on him because he gave GGG a tough fight.

I would guess about 178. That would be a large gain of 18 pounds. That is just a guess. Jacobs is a big middleweight. A gain of 15 to 18 pounds in 30 to 32 hours is about the maximum gain that will help a boxer. Gaining more than 18 pounds would do a boxer far more harm than good. Jackson is right that the rules should be changed back to same day weigh ins. However he said before the fight his fighter would win and instead his fighter lost every round. Now he is crybabying and using the weight as an excuse for the loss. Jacobs stayed within today's rules and did nothing illegal or wrong. Blame the ****** rules but don't blame the boxer who stays within those rules.

Who cares? If you can make weight surely that's all that matters. How much you weigh after the weigh-in is your prerogative. In the case of Jacobs vs GGG he calculated the risk vs reward of skipping a mandated IBF same day weight-check and decided he'd rather have an advantage of fighting a multiple belt holder with a weight surplus than fight him by the book just for that one organisations belt.
Ultimately it is unfair on the opponent BUT this would end as soon as all these organisations get their **** together and operate under the same set of rules. With the way they are now there's loopholes all over the place and fighters benefiting from them legally.
Made for a great fight though. Jacobs probably wouldn't have done so well if he did turn up for the mandated IBF same day weight-check.

Alvarez is an evenly distributed weight boxer. I think he will bottle at 175 when he is 32. That will be 6 weights journeyed for Alvarez, and even then I don’t see his power doing any effect to the more natural sizes LHWs when the time comes. He just had trouble with a 168 fighter in GGg.
Tyson had massive legs as did Tua. That’s where a lot of the power comes from. The more heavy their legs to better they can plant their upper body movement with massive power.

What would be your guess?
btw. I am not taking anything from Danny, just curious how he does it.
The average MW is cutting 10-15 pounds...anything more than that your HUGE and are struggling to make weight...that’s danny. Massive for 160.
I’d say he’s cutting approximately 18 pounds on the low end, maybe 21-22 on the high end.
Def not 25 pounds... the most I’ve ever seen was Brandon Rios rehydrate 21 pounds against Bradley. He litterally collapsed that morning making weight. Even Chavez Jr only has gone up max 20 pounds verified on hbo scale over night.
