Mayweather still may be the better fighter, but this doesnt prove a thing

    STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!!!

I dont hate Hatton dude. He is a good fighter but you saying that Mayweather is not a much better fighter than Hatton is ******ed. Mayweather will outclass him in every way possible. But dont underestimate Gatti...just when you think he is finished, he can knock you cold. Like I said...if Collazo was able to rock Hatton with a straight left hand, think of what a Gatti left hook would do.

Granted Collazo is a southpaw, but when I watch the fight, it wasn't his southpaw stance that gave Hatton problems. Or should I say not as much problems as Collazo's speed / combos / counter-punching

Collazo racked Hatton with straight rights / half jabs as he came in. Collazo was far more effective with his right hand than his left hand. I say it was more of a combination of speed and combos that were well put together, that gave hatton the problems, more so than the southpaw stance.

So your saying every southpaw Hatton fights will make him look bad ? So how does that make you a superior fighter if you cant fight an opponent from a southpaw stance ?

I think Hatton will pretty much beat up Gatti and stop him in about 6 rounds.

Gatti had his hands full with Damgaard so what do you think Hatton would do to him?

It's funny because I just read an interview where Billy Graham (Hatton's trainer), talks about how Cotto is hurting himself trying to make weight at 140lbs; it made me think of Kostya Tszyu, who I said should of moved up long ago because his frame was to big, bigger than Cotto's.

It is really funny how Hatton's team was telling everybody the faults/decline of Kostya Tszyu before the fight, but after the fight, with the victory, people seem to forget; this was not a prime Tszyu, no matter what people say, and what Kostya felt; remember, Holyfield still seems to think he can be Undisputed Champion, and many other fighters with Egos seem to think they are still young, but I really think they fail to see their own decline...not saying Kostya wasn't still a good fighter, it was just that he didn't fight enough tune-up fights, getting some rounds in, before facing a young, hungry, strong fighter like Hatton. Besides all the talk of it would of been different in America, I think, even in England, if the fight was at 147, Tszyu stood a much better chance: Hatton is not a 147 fighter, but Tszyu has the body of a true welter-weight.

Why would Hatton fight at 147? Gatti would be dead meat at 140....

this is my true opinion of the fight... mcgirt will prepare gatti well for this fight..

and seriously.. we must set the record straight...

Hatton has lessor boxing skills than Gatti. Period.. Hatton fans need to stop saying he will be outclassed, its not true.. Are gattis boxing skills great? no.. they're average.. but hes become a smarter fighter now that hes older..

Hatton is fresher and has great stamina.. Gatti hits harder at welter..

i also envision hatton backing up gatti for most of the fight and walking into some bombs..

bottom line.. at this point of gattis career (who is my favorite fighter) i cant see him winning unless he knocks hatton out which is possible.. if this fight happened 6 years ago, MAN itd be one of the biggest slugfests ever..

Gatti cutting would be a problem though.

thats the first damn thing i thought about

the potential for this fihgt to be stopped on cuts

you're right, gatti is to big for hatton

                    he was rocked by collazo

                    gatti hits harder

you can't learn to take a punch, you can learn to avoid it,but you can't learn to not get hurt.
