3g's jab and that off balance kd won 3g the fight.

    have a good day
Is this meant to be a positive argument in favour of Jacobs? I don't even go off of compubox but Jacobs supposedly landed 56 less punches....thats a drubbing, AND got got KD.

    lol cmon man, stop stretching

Back on topic, Jacobs didnt seem arrogant at all. I liked his interview afterwards, was honest he didnt go to his gameplan. I think the problem may be he didnt trhow hard because he couldnt land much on the oustide and when he got on the inside, he got caught too.

In the latter rounds, he started to throw one big shot after another and Arias, as crap as he is, seems to have a chin on him.

Jacobs' last fight says a lot about ggg. He had a dead man in front of him the last 4 or 5 rounds and coulnd't get him out of there. He had an opponent who just wanted to survive instead of trying to win at least 1 round. Should have stopped him. I don't believe he beats Charlo or Canelo fighting like that. I think People put too much stock in him knocking out Quillin who was basically ripe for the taking. People saw his undefeated record and thought he was some great fighter when he escaped with a draw against Lee. And Lee isn't a bad fighter, but I just never put a lot of stock in Quillin

Arias was doing the same thing. He'd wait for Jacobs to throw one of those slopping punches and clinch him. Maybe if someone in the corner said, "he's just wanting to clinch, throw a jab, feint, and when he goes to clinch catch him with an uppercut..". Or just **** his body in the clinches.

The arrogance works in big fights but last night it didn't help him. He got very good advice from his coach between rounds but as soon as he thought he hurt Arias he would go full Wilder on him. You can tell he has a lot skills but his emotions got the best of him last night.

The HBO crew was just pathetic on th amount of praise they were heaping on him. If I had to guess I think they were doing that to boost Golovkin's win over him.
I was thinking this same thing. HBO was completely ignoring everything from Arias and riding Jacobs hard. I think they just still see good "product" out of him and can still make good fights with him in the future. They want to make sure you understand just how amazing, super awesome, and incredible the dude is in there. Just in case you couldn't see that for yourself.

56/12 = 5 more per rd. and most, if not all, were jabs.

Jacobs caught Quillan cold for a first round ko and lasted 12 rounds with Golovkin. Other than that his resume is pretty weak. That's really thin for all the claims he makes. If you claim you're special, you gotta do something special.

those numbers are wrong though...must have been counting those ineffective body flurries that were caught on the elbows. if you watch the video breakdown ggg outlands him by 73 which seems more accurate and those jabs were power jabs that knocked jacobs head back. besides the rare power shot that jacobs landed his punches were not as effective as those jabs so to dismiss them isnt being a good observer.
