[HISTORY] Lets get something straight about Mayweather

Lets get something straight about Floyd Mayweather --- when he got control of his career after breaking from Top Rank and beating Judah he's fought nothing but the best.

Haters that say he avoided guys until they were weak need to do their research and eat crow.

Floyd was calling DLH AND SSM out long before that so no arguments can be made he never tried getting those fights. He called Tszyu, SSM, and DLH back in 2005. Proof below.

That cat's toofeses was coming out y'all, nahmean!

The evidence will show Bob Arum said the DLH fight would make no money and 13 months after leaving Top Rank Floyd broke PPV recods and tapped DLH's asś.

Since Floyd left Top Rank he fought:
    • Baldomir (had to grab the WBC belt to get DLH)
    • DLH
    • Hatton
    • JMM
    • SSM
    • Ortiz
    • Cotto
    • Guerrero
    • Alvarez
    • Maidana
    • Pacquiao
    • Berto
    • McWelfare

For someone that avoided fighters, I would say that evidence states the complete opposite.

Great fighter without a doubt - arguably the best of his generation.

The best technical fighter I've seen in the sport, in his younger days and lower weight classes he was a boxer puncher with slick combinations, but with age and growth he transformed into a technician.

I don't know why people can't be honest about Floyd. They either say he ducked everyone or that he fought "nothing but the best". Neither is the case. He didn't straight duck anyone but there were times when he could have fought better opposition. Particularly at the end of his career.

That said, his resume is great. You really can't criticize it and if you do, you must think really highly of the guy because the only thing you can say is, "His resume is not PERFECT, it's only close to perfect."

And it is a fact that Floyd even called out Oscar when he was a 130 pound fighter which was 3 divisions up and that takes balls!! And when he called out Shane, Shane complained about a tooth ache, lol!!

I do know for a fact(because ssm admitted it)that Floyd was tring to get Mosley when he was at 130 and Mosley was 135 AND Mosley tured it down.Too much risk too little reward was Mosley reasoning.

Coming from a guy who has Stallone as his AV I don't feel the trollspeak like I probably should.

A guy who stole Wepners story that saved him from being a bum that sold his dog for 25 bucks at a liquor store. A guy that did **** because he ****** so bad at acting. A actor that ****** so bad he lived in a bus station for three weeks. A guy that had a billion dollar franchise and didn't throw Wepner any money for stealing his story until he got sued for it.

Classy guy you got there. Have a good weekend.

No need to pay attention to those sort of people. Some just jump on a bandwagon and ride it, they see the guy talking, flashing money and just think straight negative. If you put all of that aside then you can see things for yourself. The only gimme fight would probably be his last 2 fights in his career.
