Just because Wilder has one belt doesnt make him automatically worth 40 %.. you just overpay to that amount purely to get the belt.

Having something doesnt distinguish your worth in every aspect, only one. that you have something the opponent desires.

What AJ fans are saying defines worth, is how many fans, how many sponsors.. PPV buys etc etc YOU bring to the table on top of what he brings. When the answer isnt 40%.. then youre only getting 40% for your belt.. so you arent worth that.

Anyone with common sense knows the fight won't get made at 60/40 so complaining about the split is acknowledging that the fight might not get made.

75/25 OR 70/30 is good enough because that split will still give Parker 4-5 times his highest pay day.

What kind of split did Floyd used to give to his opponents?? Those guys were getting like 5 to 10% and it didn't matter what belt they had. Cotto, a proven draw and champion in his own right got like 20%..... Let that sink in!!

40% LMAO ahaha of course you’d take 40%. That’s what $20mil. Deontay Wilder struggles to sell out a arenas but has Parker ever sold out anything? His last fight was on YouTube FFS. 75/25 is fair.. That should give Parker over $10mil.. He earnt just less than $1milin his last fight and I doubt he has even earnt $5mil in his whole career combined.

I think 70/30 is fair, theirs a case for 80/20 but I am sure the Parker deal will be done first and as part of the Wilder negotiations Hearn will make sure it is known that it is for the unified HW Championship. The percentage for Wilder will probably be 70/30 as well. Parker earns more currently than Wilder and they both have one of the straps, Parker is challenging for 3 belts where there is a good possibility that Wilder will be fighting for 4.

60% of either purse for Parker or Wilder probably equates to over £15 million. If AJ is all about the legacy like he says, £30 million+ for those two fights is great business.
