Anyone with common sense knows the fight won't get made at 60/40 so complaining about the split is acknowledging that the fight might not get made.

75/25 OR 70/30 is good enough because that split will still give Parker 4-5 times his highest pay day.

What kind of split did Floyd used to give to his opponents?? Those guys were getting like 5 to 10% and it didn't matter what belt they had. Cotto, a proven draw and champion in his own right got like 20%..... Let that sink in!!

60/40 is fair in my opinion. Parker is a champion whether people want to respect that or not. Secondly, AJ or Wilder cannot be undisputed, unified champion without Parker's belt. Acting like AJ is much better is ridiculous. They won their titles within a year apart - it is not like AJ has been such a long reigning champion. Yes, AJ is more marketable by a large margin but cannot achieve his goals without the Parker belt. He needs to treat the other guys with the respect required. Now, should he/Wilder/Parker get all the belts, the other guys have no leverage. I just hope they don't underestimate Parker and he throws a wrench in the AJ-Wilder meet if AJ loses before then. Parker has never been dropped and has the best chin of the 3 guys in my opinion.

Smart negotiation at this early stage, they aren't just gonna say the lowest percentage they would ACTUALLY accept in public. I'm sure they will settle for 30 to 35% in the end.

Yeah but the split matterz because if it isnt right then the fight wont get made. Nothing to do with getting emotional or caring about AJs bank balance. We just want to see big fights happen.

60-40 is obviously not going to happen. Neither is 80-20. Luckily this is just the start of negotiations and they will likely get ti around 70-30 which seems about right.

Lol @ the starting point is 50/50 as a mark of respect. That's not how business is done its based on money. And once you look at the figures you'll see that there's no way Parker deserves 50%. Even 60/40 is very generous id be very surprised if they got that.
