If talks just started how can anything be confirmed before those talks even take place. This is boxing, **** happens Joshua breaks his hand bad or messes up his shoulder lifting he is on the shelf for a year and sitting out a year makes him less marketable.
Same with Wilder.
If all goes according to plan but plans and heavyweight boxing are notoriously hard to pull off. So while talks are good, unless they are talks about the immediate next fight then they don't mean that much.Comment

I'm excited for the fight. Both guys are strong, undefeated powerful punchers with a background in the Olympics.
Kings should fight Kings.
And for those who are being critical of Wilder's performance against Stiverne, are you guys serious? He got the job done. While the outcome was still in doubt we saw hard jabs and a sharp on the money right to drop Stiverne. What followed was showmanship while taking out a dead man.Comment

No one really cares if Parker steps up, he is irrelevant.
People may not think Wilder is good but they have thought about him and want to see him step up.
One gets shown indifference the other doesn't, indifference is the enemy of a big fight and no one is indifferent on Wilder.Comment
