Arums got the mind games under control. Whites gonna blow his top and Arum will continue to talk in a monotone voice cracking a few smiles here and there while throwing hip shots.

        MMA will never disappear.
It's got loyal followers who find boxing boring to watch.

                He's right.

They built up Ronda & Conor and both abandoned them.

                    Bob ain't lying here.

The numbers have been the lowest they've been in a long time with Mcgregor out for the year. All their old cashcows are old and moved on. The only big draws left are Mcgregor and GSP. Mcregor seems like he doesn't care if he's anointed the GOAT MMA fighter and has made no secrets he wants to get out young & build his brand. GSP is old.

It's hard to find GSP's, and Silva's. Everybody can get knocked off by anybody as we saw where every champion lost their belt this last UFC PPV. That's a good thing, but it does make it hard to develop a rapport with the fighters if you're a fan. There's no polarizing figure. Somebody so dominant he's loved/hated.

Like Bob said the same thing over and over. The parity is so good its problematic in a way.

So when business people expand and want to diversify their portfolios, they are doing so because their other businesses are failing? MMA is the future and the UFC is the biggest company by far. They have events almost every week, they have a reality show and they have at least 1 PPV per month - all making money. Boxing can barely find a fight to put on PPV. Other than Canelo - no other fighter is a legit PPV fighter in the sport.

Arum just made a baseless claim with no numbers or data - just his hatred of White. Fking *** weasel should drop dead already - and take Don King with him.
