  • Comments Thread For: Joshua: If Wilder's Not Making Offer, We'll Do It on My Terms!

Unless Deontay Wilder and his handlers are making an offer, they'll have to wait until Eddie Hearn and Anthony Joshua determine what's fair. That's Joshua's take on any upcoming negotiations for a Joshua-Wilder heavyweight title unification fight next year. Wilder wants to fight Joshua next, but Hearn, Joshua's promoter, and Joshua are considering other options for Joshua's first fight of 2018.

This fight will definitely happen in 2018, I can see Wilder going into the UK and taking that belt back home to the U.S.

We know who holds the cards here, Joshua just fought in front of 168k his last two fights and broke ppv sales in his country the fight before last, how many ppv's has Wilder sold and how many has he performed in front of his past two fights, hell who did he even face ? AJ fought the long reigning 11 years undefeated certified 1st ballot hall of famer and ATG and another top ten ranked opponent, Wilder fought two guys not even in the top twenty right ?

We all know what's at play here.

Joshua made around $15 which is probably more than Wilder had made in his career. Wilder only made $1.4 for his party fight. Mayweather was the greatest at making fights only when the time was right for him. Wilder is just another opponent who has to get in line because Joshua is the showstopper/A-side/B-side!
