Wilder is being aggressive to put pressure on AJ. If Wilder was passive, the fight wouldn't happen until 2019. By being aggressive, Wilder has made a 2018 showdown far more likely.

We don't think AJ is ducking anybody, but clearly the smart business move is to avoid Wilder for another fight or two. Not that Wilder would be the favorite, but he's more of a threat than Parker.

So to the many fans who want this fight NEXT, Wilder is correct when he says it would be happening next if it were up to him.

But it's up to the A-side, AJ, which is why it's unlikely to be next.

Dude, your usually pretty decent in the comments but AJ got you gassed. It's clear that Hearn doesn't want to put up his investment yet. D.Wilder is licking his chops & can't wait. You can't Blame D.Wilder for anything. If Hearn put in the contract that after whyte AJ is next then it would of happened already.

[QUOTE=j.razor;18194627]SMH...Why are you "mind bobblin" yourself? He is calling him out to get the negotiations going, genius.[/QUOTE/] you can respectably call someone out to start negotiations not go on ranting about being ducked..making the other guy look like a coward in the public's view..GGG never went on all media outlets screaming "duck" on canelo..all I'm saying is he needs to calm down..the fight will happen..the (boxing)public can't let this showdown slide

I've noticed that these HW threads have a lot of new posters. Maybe the division is the life blood of the sport after all?

That's just a whole new level of delusion.

Wow!! People are really putting a lot of emphasis on the Stiverne fight. He knocked out a better guy (who was actually in shape) in his previous fight, so why does this demolition of a 254lb Stiverne suddenly have people thinking the same thing will happen to AJ? AJ would have destroyed Stiverne exactly the same way.

I remember him squawking a little bit, but nowhere near how he is now, after destroying a can himself and seeing AJ have to work a bit to stop Takam.
