you must be a nimrod, the amount of money from a 20-25% split against a.j is easily parker's biggest payday..but no they rather fight a razvan cojanu or kyotaro fujimoto till they get better money that they do not worth..cash out tactics...cabron! if it was about unifying and not money they'll take the Wilder offer

If I'm Wilder I would "possibly" consider giving Parker what he wants even if it's 55/45 or 50/50. Reason being with the WBC and WBO belts it literally gives AJ no other option but to fight Wilder if he wants to unify. Which I believe AJ is going to fight Wilder anyway it'll make the fight that much more intriguing when it does happen.Last edited by AdonisCreed; 11-08-2017, 10:02 AM.Comment

If they forced it as a US PPV, maybe it could work, but I don't see the buys justifying the purses. They'd need to do at least 300k in sales and sell out T-Mobile to make it work here.
I'd be very happy (and I'd buy the PPV) if they somehow got Parker to fight Wilder in the US.Comment

Team Wilder can't even afford to pay their OWN guy the right amount of money but their going to shell out what we all know would have to be Joshua money ?
And i thought Wilder wanted Joshua ,isnt this move considered a duck in Wilder world?Comment

Exactly. Also out of that statement I took from it that Team Wilder didn't send him a low ball offer either he said "it wasn't enough" which means if we're going to lose this belt it's going to cost you guys a little more money to take this belt lol Joseph is actually in a good spot. He's considered the lesser of the three belt holders and he's low risk HIGH REWARD for both Wilder and AJ which means he has good leverage for a B Side fighter. It sucks but I can't blame him for trying to get that money lolI don't think the Wilder camp would be opposed to 50/50. The problem is that would only be about $2 million if it was for a US non-PPV card (similar to Thurman v. Garcia). I think Parker makes at minimum $5 million fighting Joshua in the UK (likely is closer to $7). I think they're using the Wilder option to try and push Eddie closer to $10 million, which is what Wilder would make to fight Joshua at minimum.

It's win/win all the way for Wilder fans. Until AJ fights him.Comment

Parker seems to be lightweight cashing out,, I think he see's Joshua as the lower risk with more $$ and Wilder as a higher risk less $$. If Wilder vs Joshua can't happen next I want to see Wilder vs Parker for unification, then against AJ afterComment

It's easy from a fanboy POV to take that from that statement....as it is, we don't know what Wilder's team offered - but going from history it was probably peanuts.
No way Parker dodges Wilder for an acceptable offer, no way!Comment

You guys make me laugh. You're quick to criticise, but avoid all the facts to prop up your lame arguments which are certified horse shyt.
Wilder like like shyt versus Szpilka and Washington, stopped then so what it's more a case of who hasn't at this point.
Parker lacks a few fundamentals needed at the highest level, but at heavyweight right now I don't see a particularly high level. Call it what it is but it can't be denied Joshua looked poor versus Klitschko, he looked lost in four of those rounds in round seven he was following WK around the ring with absolutely no application whatsoever, devoid of ideas, I saw the same AJ rear his ugly head versus Takam when straight forward power simply wasnt shifting Takam, Takam who hasn't an ounce of skill to match his heart and work rate.Comment
