Hahah. C'mon man, Joshua cannot move like Hughie Fury and Parker wouldn't need to cut off the ring to find him so he's got a lot better chance to land combinations.

The styles would gel a lot better in terms of creating an entertaining toe to toe fight.

Sure that's the safe bet, but I'm just saying I think Parker will do better than many expect, Hughie Fury is slicker defensively than Joshua and was backwards all night.
Parker will test Joshuas chin and his speed is a factor when he gets inside the jab and doesn't have to reach.
When he plants his big legs and torques into the shot he can shake Joshua up , he has decent power , just not like Wilder and Joshua.

Yeah but while his pro record is ok, coming up he's prob only sparred a bunch of Samoan bums at home in NZ , still at least some of those guys can punch, it's not really like the top Brits sparring with Olympians and top amateurs , guys like Joe Joyce etc

Yep, agree with this. Totally different style, Hughie Fury's movement and awkwardness would give a lot of people trouble and is a style nightmare for Parker. Joshua's style matches up nicely for a good scrap at least.

It could come down to who can take / avoid the most punishment. Parkers low style could work for him here. It'll be fun whatever.

I still think AJ Wilder should be top priority though.

No, but I bet you got me on that one. I hear Povetkin is freaking huge in his country.

Yeah...well they bid $23.3m for the Wlad v Povetkin fight, next highest was K2 at a bid of $7m!

For the Povetkin v Wilder fight they bid $7.15m against the next highest of $5m.

Hearn is tight with his coin in general, as he says he "knows the value of a pound note". His dad was an accountant and he rarely overpays apart from the Charles Martin fight with Joshua when he paid him about $5m for the IBF title.

Safe to say I am sure they'd bid more than Hearn to get Parker to Russia and steal that title from him.

Hmmm , what do you think Parker should do? Get lowballed by Hearn for not much more than Pulev was gonna get or stay with WBO until Povetkin and KO Lucas Browne in the meantime which is a crowd pleasing fight and quite big in NZ/Aus
Browne is a monstrous puncher but his chin is nothing special and his skills and speed lack so Parker should be able to stop him and add a bit of value to himself.

If they can get Pedvetkin off his roids he's a little guy that gets smashed up by cruiserweights, Parker has a chance , it's still a decent scrap even with Pedvetkin cheating.

You're probably right, I doubt Parker could beat the top 4 heavyweights Joshua, Wilder, Povetkin, and Ortiz but he would still be a live dog against all 4 of them, and Fury comesback he's no longer a top 5 fighter
