Comments Thread For: Parker: I Want Anthony Joshua Next - I Want To Test His Chin!

At a press conference held earlier today in New Zealand, WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker and his promoter David Higgins of Duco spoke with the local media and made it clear that their number one goal is a unification with IBF, IBO, WBA world champion Anthony Joshua. While there are also discussions taking place with Lucas Browne, the former WBA "regular" champion is a backup option in the event the Joshua negotiations fall apart.

Make it happen. Povetkin is coming. He won't pay as much as Hearn will for that belt.

I wouldn't mind this fight if Wilder got a decent fight like Povetkin, Pulev or Whyte in the meantime. That would be okay if Joshua and Wilder fought right after to build the hype, but I have a bad feeling we're not going to see this fight for a while

JP, you aren't going to test his chin if you sluggishly follow him around the ring and not land a flush shot like you did against Fury.

Work on cutting off the ring, putting together combos, and talking trash, cause you suck at all three.

Pretty much but I think Parker actually has a decent shot at Joshua, he won't have to look for him too much with his short arms and when he lets his combos go he is dangerous.
Joshua definitely slowed with the extra muscle , he was a lot quicker vs Breazeale at 18lbs less

If Parker last first 6 rounds he has a decent chance to **** Joshua up

I don't give Parker much chance here.

Parker has a chance against Joshua, Joshua still should be like 5/1 favorite, but Parker if he can get inside can do damage, Joshua doesn't fight too well on the inside or the outside he needs in the mid range, so if Parker can keep Joshua uncomfortable he could pull it off, and so far he seems to have a good chin, never been dropped in his life is what I've heard
