Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder are the two with Elite ability.

It remains to be seen how much Tyson has left, but he is the only Heavyweight of this era with Elite level ringcraft. I stole that phrase off someone on here a few weeks back because it's true. His footwork and ability to control the pace are Elite level. Or at least they were before his lay off.

On the other hand is Deontay Wilder and his Elite power. He has that scary power. And this is coming from someone who has many posts on here laughing at Wilder's lack of boxing ability. He has the big equalizer and it makes him dangerous against anyone.

A fit and healthy Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder is THE fight in my opinion. My money would be on Tyson making Wilder look like an inept buffoon, completely outclass him and box his head off. It only takes one windmill punch to turn it all on it's head though...

Anthony Joshua has very good attributes, even could be called World Class. But there's a difference between World Class and Elite.

With so much ring rust is it even safe for Fury? You saw what happened to Stiverne...

I'd disagree about either being elite (even in Fury's best fight, his output was shamefully low) but I do agree that Wilder vs Fury would have been THE fight. Sadly, Fury's body will never be the same. Shame because I'd have loved to see a prime fight between these two. The stylistic angle would have been extremely interesting.

No part-timer is beating the 'Bronze-Bomber'. Tyson Fury is living off the Kltischko win, I like to say lets get him in there with a top ten to earn his shot at tha champ Deontay Wilder but then again half of the contenders are dopers like Tyson.

I think Fury does have a very good boxing IQ and ring craft. He is no joke in that department. Get a man of that size and ring craft and it's a hard man to beat.

Wilder's power is the real deal. I think he's out on his own in terms of power in the HW division, there's other big punchers but he's on another level. Joshua may have a 100% KO record but some of his early stoppages were as bad as the Takam one with the ref just jumping in because he landed a little flurry. Wilder is genuinely stopping people, not letting the ref do it for him.

I think Fury can come back if he wants to. He's only 29 and has ballooned up loads of times. He has a massive frame and piles weight on quickly, but i'm sure he can shed it too. Him losing that weight is probably like a MW losing 30-40lbs, maybe a bit more. It's not ideal but if does it properly and doesn't jump into any really tough fights until he's had some tune ups while getting back into fighting shape, he could still do it. I think he's still a good 12-18 months away from fighting anyone remotely near world level but he'll still be about 30 which is still relatively young for a HW in todays game..

I agree 100% with this. 9 times out of 10 Fury would beat Wilder and he would make it look easy. But Wilder's power and hand speed would be a constant danger. One mistake by Fury could cost him the fight.

tyson fury is about 100 lbs over weight. 100 of them! he's almost surely never boxing again. try putting 100 lbs of meat in a backpack and walking around for a while to get an idea of what that does to you.

he was also on nandrolone prior to klistchko, and then popped for coke, and should be suspended for a number of years. he is all done.

wilder boxes like a novice kid who was gifted monstrous power. which is exactly what he is. he's a ticking time bomb.

yeah, fury moves better than joshua and had better craft. yeah, wilder hits harder. but those things aren't going to matter because joshua is the only real fighter left of the three.

truly prime fury, on all of those drugs, was not a bad fighter and beats both. but that guy is long gone. and let's face it. he was on peds! real, anabolic, big boy steroids and performance enhancers. god know what he didn't get caught with. fi you get on nandrolone you'r eon other stuff just to keep your body from getting all out of balance and destroying it.

How is Wilder elite? Tyson and Joshua are levels above Wilder. This board is weird

I still to this day don't believe the stories of Tyson Fury supposedly on PEDs. The British establishment went out to get the Furys, and they succeeded.
