WTF did you do???? GGG dropped you, hurt you, outworked you, out landed you, took control of the pocket, applied the pressure and left you lumped up like if you stuck your head in a bee's nest with your ears flapping. GTFOH

This man fought to survive and he did that for 12 rds.

Now they took a hungry good fighter and by the 3rd round Danny and his fanboys will realize Arias is not a tune up. far from a tune up.
what makes u think Arias is not a tune-up. he got a shyte resume

Arias is right no one expects him to win at all. But this is just to make Jacobs look good. I'll watch because I expect to see a KO happen!!!!!!!!

Agreed, throwing that s*** out is damn right disrespectful. Aria is ranked by all the top sanctioning bodies & top 10 by two, if casual fans don't know a fighter they should do some research.

arias should win this by knockout. jacobs is pure glass. people giving him too much credit for simply surviving against an old faded ggg. it reminds me of judah vs matthsse. matthysse won it easy but judah was such a big underdog that they even gave him the fight! arias is a young hungry lion like victor ortiz

The real Garcia / Salka matchup is Horn / Corcoran.

Looking forward to this fight. Arias looked good in his last fight and see if he's ready to jump up in class and I want to see what Jacobs has after GGg.

I like this site, but WOW a ton of people in this comment section are HARSH....

                    Rod Salka???? REALLY???

I do not get the Danny Jacobs is overrated narrative at all. Sometimes I wonder if some of the worst critics have even watched the fights or just pick up cliff notes from other critics. Jacobs had rounds he fought GGG to a stand still. He showed heart after the knock down (which was as much losing balance while moving backwards just as much as it was Golovkin caught him- I do not think he was hurt) and he made adjustments to what GGG did early and nearly swept the middle rounds. That Trip G then adjusted to HIM in the later rounds to seal a legit win shows the measure of how good Golovkin is. That Jacobs came back from a bad start to almost beat the boogeyman shows the measure of Jacobs.

Overrated? Not a chance. He is a top MW and I see this as a nice "get back with it" fight and then I hope he does get a top 5 MW next, title or no. I have repeatedly said I know near zero about Arias. I have enjoyed the crud out of his antics leading up to this fight. He is entertaining and has never crossed the line from trash talk to disrespect. I hope he is ready and does give a good accounting of himself.

To me, it just doesn't matter. Danny Jacobs is that good he beats most MW and could give a nice accounting of himself at 168.

Danny Jacobs was schooled by Golovkin, only motivation he has is surviving 12. He did not hurt or beat Golovkin by any means, a wide L.
Jacobs has hard time even standing still, he is so unbalanced if you look at it and this results in his punches being weak except for his right.
Monroe, Lemieux, Charlos also beat him.
