Horn is Arum property. Outside New Zealand this Top Rank offshore roid head aint going to beat anybody. He is a whoreComment

What does that make Crawford then? Arum is only leasing Horn but he has complete ownership of Crawford. TC likely won't land Spence or Thurman because of that. Meanwhile, if Horn plays his cards right he could one day have his freedom back and break free from pimp arum.Comment

Cong****, you just proved my point. Casual.--------------------------------
How about we put context and FACTS into your list?
Baldomir was a legit beltholder and had beaten Zab Judah who was the lineal champion at that time.
Gatti was a legit belt holder and the money fight at 140 and a hall of fame fighter. Floyd was moving up in weight so there was no testing the waters or tune ups. He called out Cotto and Hatton and Tszyu right after he annihilated Gatti.
Ortiz was the WBC belt holder at the time having defeated the undefeated beltholder at the time (Berto).
Guerrero was a legit beltholder too and hadn't lost in 8 years. He worked his way up to that title fight.
Maidana had just beaten Broner for a belt at 147 so there was something brought to the table.
Berto was Floyd's last dance so I don't really care about that especially when you look at the last 8 opponents of Pacman.
How about you give us a list of who you think Floyd should have fought at the time? Should he have fought dehydrated fighters or bums like Manny?Comment

Maidana, Guerrero, Gatti, Ortiz and Baldomir better fighters than Pacquaio? You probably didn't see any of his fights up until Marquez flattened him. He was very, very good.--------------------------------

That's insane even by the standards of come posters on this page.
Gatti wasn't a legit titleholder. WBC took Tszyu's belt for getting injured.Comment

Me neither. The folks calling Horn a bum will suddenly say he's a top fighter and the folks picking Horn will say he's a bum and Crawford hasn't beaten anybody.
Horn is a solid fighter. His tenacity and toughness makes him a good fighter. He's not a special fighter, but he's a rugged, tough guy that can trouble elite guys. Crawford is an elite talent and entering his prime. Elite talents beat good pro's.Comment

i respectfully have to disagree on this. crawford is a good fighter but he's not at the elite level yet. he needs more top names on his resume first.Me neither. cant say a fighter has elite talent when the best guy he's beaten so far is postol, which is nowhere near "elite". crawford shows potential to be an elite fighter but until he proves it, he's just a good fighter for now.Comment

I get that. It must be noted that Crawford took out the 1-2-3 best at 135 and then did the same at 140. He did it in totally dominant fashion in a way that he separated himself so far from the field that it showed elite talent.i respectfully have to disagree on this. crawford is a good fighter but he's not at the elite level yet. he needs more top names on his resume first.

His test for greatness will come in the 147 division as it is a more talent laden division but I don't think normal fighters would be able to dominate the way Bud has so far showing such consistency, skill and versatility.
I don't think just any fighter could come out of Burns-Gamboa-Beltran-Postol-Diaz-Indongo without so much as just a handful of rounds lost.Comment
